Anything from Woodland Mills?? I’m thinking of buying one of these machines but most of my trees I would be shredding are Locust, Osage Orange and cedar. I’m guessing it would struggle on the Osage Orange.
@@stuffnsuch631 yeah my Husqvarna 268 XP was cutting out when warmed up. I ordered an ignition coil on Amazon for $15 new but I messaged that same person and he said a Husqvarna 268 is Different from a 268 XP. Is there a 268 Plain ? I think I’ll be fine but if not do you have a single coil for my Husqvarna 268 XP? I use it to make shavings for cold smoking mackerel. I have just one ignition coil and my Dad bought me mine when I was like 19 yo. You on Facebook? Do I have to use a business card between the flywheel and coil on a single ignition coil unit? Heck I had a used Atv & dirt bike used parts business for more than 20 yrs and sad to say I never changed an ignition coil. I’m going to assume I need to have a gap in order for their to be spark on a single ignition coil unit as well.
Sorry, didn't have time to finish my previous message. Although I had said couldn't see for poor lighting. What I did manage to see had me get into my Husqvarna chainsaw and get to that very throttle lock spring. After a bit of disassembly and finaly getting to the lock spring and throttle lock part. I fitted a brand new lock lever and spring. Rebuilt everything and all is working as it should. Its good for the brain doing that throttle lock spring and lever. Your video really helped me get that all completed and it was so great to get it working. Previously I had used my saw on a job but had no other saw with me, had to use at almost full throttle for a bit als the throttle lock spring and lever had broken. Keep up that great work - more lighting if at all possible though! Well done on making your videos, thank you.
What about the the throttle lock out lever, I have mine apart it had an incorrect spring, I have the correct one but can not find the correct orientation, I’ve looked at the oem parts diagram aswell???
