Наитупейшая работа, Rebol - не ремонт, это не может вылечить электромиграцию(деградацию чипа) , вся магия данного процесса в экстремальном прогреве чипа, с тем же успехом можно было просто пропаять без новых шариков эффект был бы аналогичным. нас пытаются убедить в том что замена припоя важная часть данной процедуры! а по факту это не так. Чип нужно менять на новый, этот перестанет работать опять пол года! так как проблема не шариках а в тех процессе чипа, и он просто деградирует! Говорю как профессионал в данной области. не ведитесь на эту чушь. если вам говорят нужно сделать ребол, знайте вас просто обманывают!
@@RedOverlord , если это так. замечательно. на видео это не видно, кажется что происходит обычный ребол, а не замена с донора. в любом случаи использовать старые чипы не очень надежно с тем учетом что данный чип склонен к деградации(электромиграции). нужно ставить новые детали!
@@МихаилАбрамов-п7л new chips are not available. the original chip overheated so much that it died. I took a donor gpu from a regular xbox which should be perfectly fine, I used low temperatures for reballing and soldering.
@@RedOverlord , я живу в России, и наша страна обложена санкциями как не какая другая, и не смотря на это я могу заказать такой оригинальный новый чип, не смотря на возраст и то что он давно снят с производства, я все равно могу это сделать. и это не алиэкспресс. в период с 2000-2009 год много разных компаний выпускали чипы с ошибочной микроархитектурой, которая приводила чипы к деградации/преждевременному старению(к так называемой электромиграции), перегрев/нагрев только катализатор, а не причина неисправности. данный дефект диагностируется очень просто, необходимо просто пропаять чип(до полного плавления припоя, можно даже подвигать чип для верности), если после этого начинает работать то чип на 100% с электромиграцией и нуждается в замене на новый. данные чипы nvidia также склонны к этому дефекту, как и много других из этого временного периода. перегрева при пайки боятся только чипы с напаянными на подложку кристаллом. так как их кристалл напаян на подложку на такие же шарики припоя только более маленького размера, и свободное пространство залито компаундом, который расширяется при нагреве, таким образом при достижении температуры плавления припой фактически выдавливается компаундом. и чип становится негодным. поэтому такие чипы желательно реболить на более легкоплавкий припой, на свинцово оловянный(180с) или на оловянно висмутовый. (138с). также не рекомендую использовать оплетку для удаления припоя, этот способ очень агрессивный, часто вызывает повреждения маски или самих дорожек. есть более простой, и более безопасный способ, необходимо пропаять нужные площадки сплавом "розе", после данный участок подогревается до 110-120с и обычной салфеткой(из нетканого материала) место протирается, весь припой остается на салфетке.

Is the console modified in exactly the same way as the one shown here (especially, r the tantalum pcbs used)? what is the optical condition of the console you offer? how can we get in touch besides youtube? i have CECHB00 (the full black one 20 GB Modell), working perfectly in very good technical and optical condition. no heat problem and no graphics problem. but i read that you don't receive hardware for repairs. otherwise i would ask you to do a preventive replacement of the gpu on theese :D. i've heard that the B00 models tend to suffer from backwards compatibility after a rsx change (ps2 in particular), is this the case with the A00 models too?

its a GPU swap from a later slim model PS3. its to deal with the yellow light of death the original 90nm chips have. 40nm GPU's run cooler, use less power, and overclock way higher.
Bought one of these for my kids when they were little. What a machine! I remember fixing the tray once, to load disks properly. What a nightmare. This is 100x more work, but really cool to watch. Wish I knew what the different things are for, and why you're changing them. I'm a nerd, but don't know a ton about mod'ing these. I did mod a few PSP's back in this era though. Also fun machines. The programming, resistor changes, and the voltage lowering is to get the new chip running right. The black squares are capacitors I switch out as preventitive maintenaince. In the end I cut the IHS plate from the CPU so I can replace the thermalpaste underneath. Thanks for watching

there is a tutorial out there somewhere that tells you how to convert a retail xbox motherboard to chihiro. but you also need a chihiro chassis, its not just an xbox that powers it there are many sega specific parts that connect to the xbox board.
@@jm036 I don't know, but if there is a way to do it, I can do it. I also have a reballing machine and I can make the necessary modifications if there is a way , I didn't even know there was such a thing as Chihiro, I'm just now watching and studying it.
I did not actually, usually I do as a standard maintenance procedure but these looked perfect. customer can solder so if it becomes a problem he can swap them out.
@@RedOverlord Oh? To me it looked like several of the previously damaged capacitors had actually started outright bulging out or leaking after your 24 hour bake period. They looked bulged, I could see that much. That's on the donor board though, I think..

No, its kernel and bios are prepared to work only with the specified hardware. Its GPU doesn't even exist on the consumer market, it's a kind of GF4 prototype, game programming expects specific features from this GPU (which are not present in other desktop ones) the only thing you can do on this console is to upgrade the processor and RAM memory. The closest you can come to improving image quality is to adapt an HDMI mod directly to the test points on the motherboard, where you will get a clean, crystal-clear signal, superior to any HDMI mod using the standard cable connection. console. Version 1.6 was also entirely manufactured in China, and had major changes in production quality (for the worse). In my experience, version 1.0 ~ 1.1 does not have a very good analog signal processor, and from 1.5 onwards this processor is not so good again. I'm sad that the hacking community has been BUYED by Sony and Microsoft, since the xbox one, we haven't seen anything cool, no modchips, jailbreaks, or cool mods.
