I could 100% feel the haste diff. I like many others went more towards Crit>Mastery/Mastery>Crit. After the class change I had to put on a haste ring I had in the bag just in case.
I don't know why I didn't awaken to crit/mastery being the best stats for templar, so I was mainly haste/mastery for HoTS. I've started migrating, but even with my high haste, I can still "feel" the haste nerf. My human ret, is the only one that mitigates it, with their racial, but still. Went back to templar strikes in my delve build, oof lol i've been CSing it so long it was little rough first few pulls.... on top of having to open my spellbook and bring TS back onto my hotbar. lmao. Hammer of Justice changes were very nice. Baseline it went from 1min cd to 45 seconds, when you take the reduction talent it is now a flat 30 seconds. In keys it so nice, not having to track your cd on it hoping you reduce it in time, but just knowing that it will be there every time you need to pop Wake of Ashes. Lay on hand buff talent, I haven't tried it yet, but I bet in Queen Ansurek this will be huge for the tanks that take Feast. God seeing that Healing absorb going out, and you insta pop LoH onto that tank, and you see their hp not even move felt sooo bad. Yeah the "A just reward." and the talent that lets blessings heal, Nice in concept, but the actual amount that they heal is pathetic. I ran the BoSac one yesterday in a key, and pretty much kept it on CD, 1 min, and it barely registered on the meter. lmao.
Sorry if i missed this, but did they remove a talent which grants the increased damage Divine Storm proc as well? I copied your M+ spec and noticed i didnt have Divine Storm procs, only Final Verdict which is usually in ST specs. I just ran a key and felt like i was doing barely 2/3 of the damage i did 2 two days ago, fucking wild. If this is only supposed to be a 2-3% damage nerf, then the playstyle mustve somehow fundamentally changed and im doing something very wrong
I always irrationally lean toward wanting more haste, to the detriment of other stats. It just feels so good. Really haste is the only secondary stat you notice right away and tangibly changes the feel of the game
struggling to make my choices - how do ytou get the raidbot loading into the game like you do? How it shows the increase.. may incorporate that and call it a day and jsut grab what gives me a bigger boost. Stuck between deciding on a hero track shoulders (current champ) or a champ Skarmoraks shard (to replace a hero A tier trinket.. other trinket is Mark).
Lol, this is the second week in a row. I opened my vault and its contents put me to sleep. Two things that I already had, and four very other sleepy items. Snore.
This sucks Herald of the sun if played right beat Templar hands down and it just felt so smooth and fun, now the class feels like complete clunky garbage. I guess Paladin goes back into the box for the rest of the expansion.
I.m a previous season title 0.1% ret player currently 3k io only saying this to say im qualified to comment on the changes, Our class tree is gaga bad like and absolute pile of shit. time to reroll boys
If i want Ara Kara trinket in my upcoming vault, do i need to have done that specific dungeon? Or is it completely random? I Trieste Googling it but people say both yes and no..
At ilevel 618, i’ve been able to get about 40% mastery, but the most haste I’ve been able to get so far is only about 16%. At that point, gameplay feels so clunky, it’s not really fun. Now to remove another 4% haste is really going to suck.
@@aronbartkowiak7091 i’ll bet that makes an incredible amount of difference for you. Your DPS is probably awesome. Good luck with this week’s Ret tree rework!
Someone wants paperwork to back up his excuse for keeping his job. Easier to massacre a talent tree than it is to fix all the bugs in this shit tier expansion.
Thanks for the Video. Would be cool if you could do a quick video on the Wowhead Retribution Paladin 11.0.5 PTR Talent Calculator for a viable raid spec. I raid on Tuesday night!
Tell me, where do you see that we are losing 10% cdr? Did you actually read the new tree? It kept the 10% cdr, and we are getting the fading light for free. Overall, it's a net buff.
They are fiddling about a lot - hope this settles down and does no become an ongoing swing that we pay for by the removal of borrowed power. Also, I hate that Ret gets lumbered with the "utility spec" label, meaning you'll be "expected" to carry groups with your utility and less focus on DPS.
Good rundown - looking forward to the update! Noticing, I am still running herald. Hasn't hurt me in raids (at least I dont think) as I am still top 3-5 on dps, but I do feel that w/templar I think me having such low Crit is the reason behind it..
@@KodokuSamaa with my play style and lower crit (having dedicated every slot to mastery basically), I had more overall dps w/herald. Again, maybe it’s my play style or gearing? Curious how relevant that comment is with 11.0.5 though excited to see!
I’m really getting sick of this shit with the class instability. We can’t even get through a whole season without massive changes. Are they placing a new developer on the class every couple weeks or something?
i also think we will play templar strikes.. witch goes really good with our templar build atm based on crit and also u eliminate the rng factor of HP generation .. i find it annoying atm
Makes sense to me. The only thing that's annoying is I feel like a lot of the "utility" nodes are very niche and I'm really not hyped about any of them, so to me it just feels like a bad class tree with a nerf. I guess maybe you'll change my mind on Tuesday.
The warlock change is absolutely god awful and makes zero sense. Nobody is using Rain of Fire on single targets - that hasn't been a thing since Rain of Fire got heavily nerfed during the TWW beta. All this needless change will do is to effectively remove Diabolist as a viable option for Destruction in AoE scenarios, mostly M+. I really hope Blizz comes to their senses and revert that dumb change.
I dont think we lose much dmg from the Paladin tree cause you can now get both Divine purpose and Vengeful wrath(buffed to 60%dmg increase),so the 6%dmg increase is a lot more than what we lose, probably around 3%+ overall dmg increase
@@jasonlee-wc5mf did you see a flat 6% damage buff though? You'd think that'd easily offset that. Granted, I still hate the new Class tree for having so many niche and useless talents.
@@joyo1994 I'm seeing an average of 1.7% of my damage coming from seal of crusader, and not sure about seal of order yeah hard to tell since its just buffing other damage
the blizzard service award cosmetics aare weapons (like a sword/shield) and stuff that Blizzard give to the employees (but IRL/physical version) with X amount of years in the Company (we just get the in-game cosmetic versions of those)
