I have the same generator. There is a set of black/white wires, I can't find a connection for one of them. In your video on the left side, I see an extra wire not connected. Is this the other back/white?
I have to change the on/off switch on my Allpower 7500 generator is there a schematic out there somewhere. Not sure where each clip goes.,appreciate any help. Tahank You.
Mine was stored for a few months. It won't start. The cranking rope seems to not be engaged, like its broken. I replaced the old gas with new, charged batter and new spark plug. Still nothing. Any recommendations? TiA
I have an older version of this generator that was in my father-in-law's garage. It looks like it's in good shape but does not have a battery. Can you tell me what kind/size battery it uses? I have not been able to find the manufacturer's website. I also need to know what kind of fuel and oil it uses. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Stay away!! I purchased a new 7500Watt all pro,1.bad leaking gas tank. 2. Leaking carburetor. The company sent me a new tank put it on now a bad 👎👎 carb, and it hasn't been run a full hour i need to see a head doctor for wasting over $900.00!!!
Nice HD video. Question... if the battery were truly dead, would the unit run (regardless of being warmed up and using the pull rope) with the backfire preventer on the bottom of the carburetor shut? No fuel would enter without electricity to the solenoid, pulling the valve open and letting fuel into the bowl. Or am I missing something?
Love this setup. Thank you for sharing. What is your thoughts on the difference in voltage between the battery you made (8.4v) vs. the stock batter (7.4v) ? Will it cause problems down the road?
Just bought this generator, was wanting to use a legal house hook up with a cord and breaker box and all that but not sure what size cord and amp breaker box (30 or 50 amp?) and all to use as i am a novice electrician. Helpful info appreciated. Thx
Treeforgrass: Thanks for this video. Where is the fuel valve and the choke situated on this generator? How long do you keep the choke open from when you start it? It is very similar to the Ducar 7500 W petrol generator I have just inherited when I bought an off grid home last week. Regards,The Wraith
I only keep the choke closed for no more than a few seconds. fast forward the video to 1:32, right after startup, you'll notice the engine sputtering..the choke is still closed. you'll see me reaching over with my left arm to disengage the choke... you'll notice the engine instantly runs smoother. the choke lever is located on side of the generator where the pull cord is at. If you're facing it, the lever is towards the left, above the air filter housing. The fuel shutoff valve is located on the same side...its directly underneath the tank. thanks for watching!
I hope you use your portable generator carefully ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I1jT3ANENvI.html please watch this video on this link.
