Balboa sux. My 4 button control is totally different. To change modes, I push button 4, (on right) , then 3 then 4. I didn’t learn this from the poorly written balboa manual, or the tech who replace the control unit ($700+). He wasn’t sure how to change modes & gave me bad instructions. After mucho fiddle fart, I finally figured out how to set modes & temp. Now my heat element needs replacing. Balboa sux.
I have a «LED display» controller, I have to double-tapp through the sequenes of «strobe», single colors, slower change and «hard change», so there’s 12 different modes in total
Can anyone tell me the name of the dials that change the jets that are on the outside of the hot tub? Do they have a name? I want to replace mine and don’t know what they are called….* I have a MasterSpa 7.1 Twilight spa 2017
@@lildeancI have a jacuzzi j335 ….if it’s the tiny jets they are not designed to come off ….they are screwed in from the back side of the shell with a nut …..the bigger jets that you can control by turning them …to remove them turn them COUNTER CLOCKWISE until they are adjusted all the way closed ….and then you have to keep turning them another quarter turn and they will come off , if it’s an older tub and you haven’t removed them in a long time they can be hard to remove ….drain it and dry it and try some rubber gloves to give you better grip

the key is the magnet for 10 seconds (mine is a 2015 model) is on the left side toward top maybe an 1inch down from top and then cycle power to it.. then try again.
OK ... can see you can select READY or REST ..... what do they mean, and when do you use them ? The Balboa manuals are awful, this video is just repeating whats in the manual.
@@SuperCymru This indicates that the spa is set to Rest mode but the jets have been activated. When you press the Jets button while in Rest mode, the spa is assuming that you would like to use it and will start heating. The spa will run on low speed (though high speed can be turned on and off) until the spa reaches the set temperature or an hour has passed. After 1 hour, the spa will return to Rest mode.
long time tub owner, every 6 months do this to help everything last long and run smooth... 1. remove filters (soak in a filter cleaner 6+ hours) 2. pour in "flush" solution 3. run jets for 30 mins (then let sit for few hours) 4. turn off power 5. drain 6. remove jets (soak in a 1:1 water, vinegar solution 6+ hours) 7. wipe down inside + rinse + drain excess 8. put jets back in 9. fill 10. put filters back in 11. turn power on 12. heat

We have just purchased a hottub from balboa it arrived today when we try to context via Bluetooth it says we require a pin and we haven’t been told the pin and it isn’t labelled in any booklet
