I don't think Dragonslayer is a Disney movie at least since anybody barely talks about it or considers it a dark Disney film or a Disney film in general since it isn't talked about as much like *"Something Wicked This Way Comes"* or *"Return To Oz"*
Toho is the reason the film was never finished back in the day. They caught wind that this was being made and shut it down. Toho is known to get legal over their IPs. There was talk that Toho might allow it to have an official release, but I’m sure they will make sure it’s done their way with all the legal rights secured. Plus they might be on the hook for paying residuals to the original film creators, which is probably the biggest obstacle to recognizing the project. They never contracted it with anyone so it all has to get done retrospectively. Legal nightmare. But I’d love to see this get a release. It looks interesting. Part sci fi. Part horror. An opponent we never got to see Godzilla fight. It probably just needs a little more editing and slight tweaking to be released.
my idea for gm2 the year is 1954 kochi and noriko got maried and akiko has now litlle brother named serizawa . In mintime castle bravo nukes bomb and also efects godzilla . Now hes fully regeneted .Hes biger 60 ft . Godzilla starts swiming to tokyo . Minewhile in odo island angirus and rodan also gets efected by nuke . They also go to tokyo
It would've been cool if while Godzilla was standing in the giant puddle of steaming acid blood, the melting train tracks started sparking and ignited the entire puddle of blood as if it was gasoline and Godzilla had to jump back into the water to avoid getting burned.
Orca didn't feel like a Jaws rip-off to me. It felt more like the story of Moby Dick reversed. Instead of a man going after a whale, it's about a whale going after a man. Orca is definitely underrated. I enjoyed it as a kid, and I still do as an adult.
Stock footage from *"JAWS", JAWS 2",* & *"JAWS 3-D"* (1975, 1978, 1983), *"THE LAST SHARK"* (1982) and *"DEEP BLOOD"* (1989), the theme from *"STAR WARS"* (1977) and even dialogue from *"JURASSIC PARK"* (1993) were used in *"CRUEL JAWS"* (1995). Why?!
If that wasn't bad enough, in 2001, we received the Dinosaur horror film: *"RAPTOR"* which used stock footage from all three *"CARNOSAUR"* films (1993, 1995, 1996) as well as footage of a truck falling from a bridge and blowing up from the original *"Humanoids from* *the Deep"* (1980) and recycled music originally composed by the late James Horner (who sadly is credited in *"RAPTOR").*
After Jaws 4, Steven Spielberg used all his influence to make sure that no more Jaws movie was ever made again. It's unfortunate, since I feel it would have been better if he had made sure one was made in a proper way.
I really wanted to like this. Overall, the first half of the movie is actually pretty great. It looks great, feels great, I at least like one of the main characters (Andy), but starting with the ship accidently docking with the station through to the end is when things started getting stupid. I really want to watch it again just to see how I feel about it, but I'd rate it after the first 4 films and above the Prometheus films.
Nothing that happens in the movie actually matters. There are literally no stakes since the movie takes place 37 years before Aliens. Keep Andy, replace dollar-store Ripley and the rest of the crew with competent actors that are a bit older, get rid of the awful member-berry dialogue and copied scenes, and set the movie between the events of Alien 3 and Resurrection.
When I saw an interview with Paul W.S. Anderson and he said he had been writing a script for AVP for 7 years, I knew the movie was going to be garbage.
I got to see Godzilla Minus 1 in theaters and absolutely loved it. If I ever got to chance to make my own Godzilla movie I would absolutely use this film as inspiration… That said I started on a script for a Godzilla film back in 2022 while in High School.
I’m working on a Godzilla film which is a rewrite of Godzilla 1998 and Godzilla 2000 titled Godzilla Mutants and Monsters; in the film Godzilla (portrayed as MireGoji) and Zilla (ToraGoji) are both created from the infamous French Nuclear Testing as seen in the Tristar Movie, with both monsters mutating over 30 years and eventually attacking New York, and battling amongst each other before teaming up to fight the Millennian from Godzilla 2000. Also for much of the movie Zilla is referred to as Gojira in reference to the Godzilla (1998) novel.
What's so disturbing about this? Same thing happened in the previous form only from his gills. Anno never would have done a sequel. He likes random WTF moments without explanation. Just look at Eva.
you're taking out your ass, you're trying to review a film you've seen twice in your life and dont even remember it and then ask questions on why its so good... theres loads of reasons why its amazing, just go back and watch it properly...
