i remember IU,she said no one can beat filipino audience..its true though,we may not know the exact wordings of their songs coz honestly hangul is so hard to learn but its ok with them just hearing us sing along with them eventhough most of us just know the melody.but surprisingly there are lots of filipinos that can sing kpop songs (including me😆)but couldnt speak hangul...coz its easier to memorize words with melody and music than learning the language..

@@tweetyda who said anything about "mababaliw"? There are many Koreans, even KPOP idols who appreciates Filipino songs and even sings the songs on stage, so there are those who already appreciates Filipino songs. Yeah sad that many Filipinos themselves are the one who are dismissive of OPM & Pinoy artists. Maraming Pinoy "proud Pinoy" lang pag narecognize na ng international community ang Filo artists/personalities before Pinoys give them the recognition.

Korean only listen to pinoy music if english if not english they wouldn't mind to look or listen... maybe they like the music nor listen to 0.5% of music frm ph but they will never be so OVER CRAZY like what PINOYs do even celeb nga here Alam pa music ng Korean kesa sa banda nila Alam mo yung mga Influencer at mga Ppop idols nayan.. Funny dva!?.. mas hype pa sila sa kpop group music kesa sa Ka Uri nilang Ppop group music, at Alam mo why most of them joining Ppop as Ppop group in the Philippines it's bcoz ( THEY ONE STEP CLOSER TO THEIR KPOP LODI). Not everyone is multi lingual, even koreans have a hard time singing non-korean songs that's why they were really surprised that many people from the Filipino crowd were able to sing korean songs. I think we lucked out that aside from being generally a multi lingual nation those who can speak tagalog can speak in neutral accent and with our love for music and ability of mimicry to singing styles makes it easy for many filipinos to sing a song in different language and with accent. We're like human parrots lol.

Aside frm that Walang taong d kumakanta ng fave song nila ng Hindi nag Da-download ng Music lyric just to read while they tune in to their song , or qng d man mag download they make sure they read the song lyric itself.

Ofc not everyone lives in a multilingual country or knows multiple languages in general BUT learning lyrics is often not as hard as some may think....due to it being always a repetition. Thats how many of us across Europe for example who aint native to English actually started to learn English, especially as kids. First through songs and then ofc in school. These days though it is easier due to the internet to find the lyrics and learn to sing along...I did it back in the day only by hearing the song and ofc there were some misheard lyrics which are funny xD hahahhaha I guess individually speaking some will learn it faster some a bit slower but eventually you get there. If someone loves a song he or she will put a bit of an effort to learn the lyrics even if you dont have a clue what they mean. The accent though I guess that is harder to master even for songs so props to you guys.

@javapua

@@Niki91-HR I wanna know where you from. I'd love to be introduced to your music also. I've learned some songs from China, Korea and Turkey. I've self taught to read Pinyin, Korean Hangeul and Turkish languages. And even though a lot thinks that Chinese Mandarin is hard, I found myself more flexible in Mandarin. Sometimes, my tongue just wanna switch to except my grammar is still limited esp in translation of nouns as subject. I am more familiar with the bad words 😂, as you know, let's be honest, we always learn first the hello, I love you and then the bad words, so we know if the other person is talking trash about us bc they thought we couldn't understand them. I'd say if you're somewhere around in your 20's or even in 30's, try Morissette Amon and the famous WISHBUS Philippines (there is a WISHBUS US). Filipino artists who have performed there sang live. You will amazed how many truly great Fil artists have performed inside that bus. It's a radio station in a bus. It travels to diff. locations I think. In fact, an episode there Mori (as she is also famously known) covering Against All Odds by Mariah Carey while the bus was actually moving! She is the queen of cover songs of famous international artists but she has her own original songs. To start off, I really would want you to see first her rendition of Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw, an extremely difficult song in PH native language. The original singer is a fellow Filipina but Mori was asked to sing it for a Ph TV series Broken Marriage Vow, which is I think an adaptation of the Korean drama of the same title (not very sure). You can get the translation in English in Google. She sang that extremely taxing, powerful song while sitting down. Enjoy. Btw, we have a really old song that was translated in different languages called ANAK (in English a child, kid, or daughter/son, since Tagalog doesn't have direct translation of the English son or daughter, daughter is called babaeng anak & son is lalaking anak). The lyrics of this song resonated to millions of people all over the world that it became so famous worldwide. Even older Korean generation remembered this original Filipino song...you can still see old videos of other nationalities singing this song even now...once you see the lyrics you'll know what I mean. Hey also check out the Filipino pop group, the famous SB19 with their Billboard hit song Gento (which is actually ginto meaning gold). That's because sometimes Pinoys pronounce short long "i" as short "e". Millions of young Pinoy generation's favorite group.😮😮😮😮

@@javapua I am from Croatia, Europe. A little tiny slavic, balkan and mediterrenean country. Our music industry isnt very big and it may be different from what people consider pop and so on but we Croats still love it. We love regional tunes. The newer generation is slowly trying to change pop music which is nice tbh. I can give you some recommendations so you can see some different tunes which have a traditional touch and some very popular artists amongst us Croats. When it comes to languages ofc the curse words are the easiest to learn 😂😂😂😂 that is what everyone asks first, sometimes even before asking what hello and goodbye sound in that language. SB19 I know already. They were recommended to me via RU-vid and I thought they were another kpop group due to the fact that I was listening to a lot of kpop artists which were new to me so I learnt a bit later that they are a ppop band. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to know where to start when it comes to music from different places if you dint have at least someone who is known somewhere else. I will check your recommendations out. And I will write mine seperately so it is easier for you to follow 😁
