Jen and Vallun both paint a public image of being calm and unbothered by the "clout chasers" while allowing the guild they run to be one of the most toxic in WvW, right up there with QQ in their antics. I honestly think that they're probably perfectly nice people in real life, but then something happens to them when they get behind the keyboard in WvW and they become too full of their own crap to take criticism. I'm taking a short break from the game right now, but in the past I can't say I've ever had anything better than a neutral interaction with them, with the majority being poor and rude interactions.
Playstyle looks like what I'm going for here. New returning player - do you have a build for this? I couldn't find it in your link. Also, if you were going to run with a duo for this type of open world pvp, what would you think would best compliment you, while keeping mobility, etc? My brother is starting the game and considering thief or guardian.
Mes pairs very well with Willbender (guardian) imo as they tend to be a bit tankier. All the builds should be in the spreadsheet, but I’ll double check later! Good luck and have fun :)

Method one: assume their burst, counter with GS block, immediate knock back from block IF they haven’t used F3 then maul, #5, Maul, smokescale 3, smokescale 2. If they did use F3, block, swoop into smokescale field, swap to longbow, stealth again, wait for F3 to run out in stealth, longbow 4, longbow 2 + smokescale attack, pet meld, smokescale 2, maul, gs #5, maul, smokescale 3.

@@itssobalanced206tyvm! I’ve seen some celestial or condi druids performing well. I just play PVP (where I do really well fighting WB and Harb with my druid) and now started roaming in wvw but it’s different… celestial, external buffs (food, etc) and skill balance makes roaming more complex and what works in pvp sometimes dont work in wvw.
Reset Cele to the old stats and remove Concentration Expertise. It was fine before for certain ele builds, back when you needed to actually press buttons and have some semblance of skill. Blasting fields and knowing the mechanics of the game used to be a thing. Anet is catering to bad players, allowing them to make multiple mistakes and punishing good players for even existing. Bad game play used to be punished severely. Now you get to continue on being a scrub and disrespecting players who actually have put in the hours to learn their class(es) and paid their dues with blood and sweat. This is a good way to kill an already dead game. GG Assnet.
Yea I also think that would help a lot with the overall attitude of the game with cele by removing exp and concentration from WvW cele. It's not as powerful fight winner so many claim but with a couple professions/specs it's a bit much. For me personally cele is only a bs fight against eles who are really good. But I do get why ppl just want the stat set gone all together. I'd be fine with that for sure. The only cele I have are rings that have dropped in Wvw over the years and I'd not miss them out of my bank. I'd actually rather see Trailblazer stats gone from wvw. I say let the pve folks have the stats if they want but I'm not sure what the pve meta is so IDK if they even have any builds with cele in their meta.
in a sense, he's right. you shouldn't be able to retreat and come back so easy...there is too much kiting (and pew-pew) in WvW by like 2 years it's become garbage. At least the guy was a sword/dagger ele, he's the moral winner for me
If he had actually stayed on me, I would not have been able to ooc, also it wasn’t easily (like a thief insta porting 5000). I had to use every weapon skill, every utility, AND the elite.
You missed the opportunity to create a video showing how broken, stupid and braindead the elementalist class is. With their permanent protection, barrier application and regeneration that even a noob can play it. celestian has nothing to do with this, it is their traits, and class mechanics that allow them to have -33% damage reduction from protection, -10% damage reduction from food, - 10% from aura, etc... This class does not need celestial gear, just look at the protection duration he has, its overdone! They are actually wasting their gear stats by going celestial, I know a few elementalist that go mode DPS and they are even more tanky spec because they don't need boon duration, they can spam so much protection BS boon that you would not have killed him with that silly spellbreaker build you had.
Cele is the meta on everything - you can slot scholar runes or divinty. or mix all with some diviners accessories etc, but cele just AMPS up utility for all builds. Demonstrate some skill n maybe the shit imbalance of this game wont b so evident. Embrace truth or burn🔥

@@cjttruelife Zerker meta for 12 years what? Try 4 years till Marauder was released, or a couple years longer for holdouts. Cele was meta even before con and exp stats were added to it. Power is still meta btw for lots of specs. It just often can't compete with a lot of cele specs since cele as a set is overtuned.

my first ever DM experience with QQ was nikon making fun of me in whispers like a year ago for having a motor disability :( I wondered what it said about me to share the same hobby with so many ppl like that (of which there are millions in wvw) and so I literally stopped consistently playing about five months ago because it made me question my own standards for myself that hard
For every bad apple I meet in wvw I meet at least 5 chill people! Don’t let the negative few corrupt a fun game for you! Find a good group of people and then just stick with playing with them, you can even play in “offline” status to avoid ppl being bitches in PMs :))

@@Jei23_ I would say Mesmer definitely has a good blend of builds, but I would recommend watching some pvp gameplay with commentary and deciding by which spec best suits your play style :)

Been actually having fun. Quite nice content. My team has k/d of 1.19. Team and map chat been lively and fun. Had some friends on same team that were on servers that played on in past, so nice to see some familiar faces, all in all good fun, not much negative so far. I know some have different feels tho prolly.
too negative on mine. had 2 wvw guilds that share the same members before the alliance, a lot of folks didnt declare which one they will with. they decided to separate and got matched up this week. They're now accusing each other of pin sniping, infiltrating guild chats and discords. 😢
@@AskingHeaven1995 Well, can be at start like that with some big guilds/communities that got divided.. but also chance to then after the drama (or get more drama, but like content type of drama that feeds rivalries and GvG and roam vs roam etc and we get good clips content ^^) to rise from the ashes, something new.. something semi competitive and lively, after people gets to the mood with changing guilds/alliances/pugs around them, and realizes that on next matchup some might be on same side, so better not be too serious but have the drama be with fun sportsmanship. :) Or so i take it. Todays enemies will be most likely allies in matchups soon. ^^
cele harb isnt better than cele cata, but if cata water attunement in cooldown, an elite elixir can kill cata easily. besides this case, cata is much more consistent and better than harb. 😢harb is very hard to fight against decent thief and willbender(both power build)
The comment saying cele harb is more OP than cele catalyst is insane. Cele catalyst is wayyyy more OP, just harder to play. Harb (or necro of any kind really) is very easy to lock down. Cele catalyst can truck you down like its power with hammer or burn you down like its condi on scepter while having much better defensives than necro. But that all requires the player to be good at elementalist.
