Oh my god you just saved me years of my life. I always HAAAATED courses, because theres just so much resources to interact with languages... and im excited about the cultures and sounds of the languages i like (russian, polish and german) so i really never am not interested or wanting to try reading something and listening to it. Courses just seem like the easiest way to kill my passion for language learning in the most cruel and boring way possible while focusing soooo much on grammar as if its some sort of amusement park (more like boredom park!!) That you just go through this grammar bit once, and then the next one and are somehow expected to become fluent. Hell naaaah. Im never taking a course again, im just gonna follow my interests and take proficiency tests at most (if much!). Thanks for another life changing video!

As a brazilian who's currently studying german but has had a huge passion for russian and even more for polish for a long time, this video made me so happy. I always feel like i should just stick to german until im super fluent at it instead of distracting myself with other hard languages, but like... i love learning new words in those languages ,i love reading them, i love listening to them, i love languageeees 😭😭 so listening to your story made me so excited, seeing how much fun can be had learning languages even if in my case i might not get advanced in polish and russian but now im at least convinced its worth listening to my heart and enjoy learning some words and sentences in those beautiful languages here and there 😂 Congrats for your hard work and thanks for sharing your experiences and tips!! Girl in the purple spoke Russian well. Girl in the pink did fine, her accent was a problem, but her grammar was on its way to success. Purple actually impressed me, and is probably the best polyglot on youtube I've heard speak Russian so far.

i have been using it for a week and i find it very hard to navigate. or i still cant grab how to use it. i cant change my settings about which subject i am interested in and my page is full of stuff crowding. if i already didn't have a background on the languages i study in the app it would be hard to understand them too. i read and listen mini stories and it doesn't have a grammar follow up. the grammar lessons are so messy to follow in menus.
