As a former preschool teacher i can not believe you didn’t get a phone call when whatever happened to you son happened. Anytime anyone got hurt at school we had to inform the parents with an incident report and if it was really bad we had to call right away. I can’t believe they got away with happened. Im so sorry he had to go through all that. I homeschool my kids too. I get a lot of push back and questions on why i don’t send them to “normal” school but as a mom i don’t think schools are safe for our kids anymore. So i make the choice that i feel is best for them.
@@AshleeEagles11 100% agree about safety! When our 22 year old son was in school, we didn’t know about school threats until after the kids were home. There were active shooters, bomb threats, kids with weapons in general and it was a small town district. It seems to just get worse each year. Grateful I don’t have to worry about my kid’s safety anymore. The preschool was terrible! We could’ve sued them and did talk to our attorney about it but honestly, he was so traumatized. We didn’t want to put him through any more. They didn’t call me and other parents complained about not getting notified of things as well. They told me it happened towards the end of the day so just waited for me to get there.

@@liberty_ranch I love epidemic sound! They have the best music. My only wish is that I could use it for both channels without forking out more cash! I think it’s worth every penny though! We built this house in 2021 and this is the first time I’ve cleaned out the cabinets, so don’t feel bad. 🤣👀💕

@@liberty_ranch thank you! The color is called Cavalry. Thinking about replacing them and putting granite in. These were kind of a temporary thing because we just needed to make the house livable. We lived in Iowa and drove down here on weekends to build it. 5 hours each way…I’ll never do that again. 🤣 These are just cheap stock cabinets and counters. Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear that your son was bullied and how he lost his teeth. That would have been frustrating and heart-breaking as a parent. Poor guy!
It was. Thankfully he covered physically and his permanent teeth came in normally but the psychological trauma is still there. We bought hi some boxing gloves and a punching bag so he could learn to defend himself but my fear is that he will inherit his dad or my quick temper. So far that hasn't happened and he's a really good kid...but bullying is a huge problem that just seems to be getting worse everywhere. It makes me so angry when I see or hear that someone is being bullied.
it's hard to find the time so sometimes I just tidy up and then pick a day to deep clean one room. So far that has worked well for me. Thanks for being here. 💕
Nice video. I also had a problem with a catch all island. I have 2 basket weave trays on mine now that works great at holding stuff instead of all over my counter. Looks a lot better now. Easy to just grab a tray and move for cleaning too.
I had not seen this video yet and it popped up on my next to watch for your channel. I can relate with much of this. My oldest son was diagnosed in the 3rd grade. I feel as if his dad and myself might be on the same page. I don’t know for certain, at this point in life we have learned to navigate somehow. That being said it’s so interesting to hear your thoughts and be able to relate with so many of them. It helps me to not feel alone. YT also gives me purpose and this is what we need to cling to and if we keep at it and remember we are doing this for ourselves. Sometimes it feels therapeutic for me and that in itself should keep us going and if we stop thinking about growing and money etc. and what people may think, it may take a bit of the pressure off. (Side note….very hard to do😂) I see you as brave. I see you as vulnerable and I’m proud of you because I know in time the right people will find us. We got this. Let’s keep going.
@@Lifeinthewyldewest oh I agree wholeheartedly with you. I’m so grateful you’re here! RU-vid is therapeutic for me, well, the creating part of it is. The communication part, building community and stuff like that is hard for me. I guess I’m socially awkward which is strange to say because I had a lot of friends growing up. I feel like I isolate and become more introverted the older I get. I realized I had ADHD when I was writing down my son’s symptoms. It hit me like a ton of bricks. The diagnosis itself was good and bad. I went through the stages of grief for what my life could’ve been had I found out when I was a kid instead of when my life was half over. I’ve just started to get to the acceptance stage recently and it’s been a long hard road. But, knowing why I’ve struggled for so long has helped too because now I know I’m not just lazy. I’m rambling….sorry. 🤦🏼♀️

I do think as we get older somehow we become more anxious, it all makes sense to me. Promise me you will remember how valuable you are to this world and most important to your family who loves and adores you. @@thebestofirishcrochet kids have been out since May here and are fixin to go back within the next couple of weeks. We started today but my son is homeschooled so we have our own schedule.

Makes me so angry when kids are mean and bully other kids. By the time RJ was ready to be a Jr in HS she also couldn’t take it any longer. When she started HS she was bullied by other girls and it was awful. Her last two years was online through IQ LA. It was the best choice we made for her and turns out that the timing was perfect because she graduated at the height of COVID when all the schools shut down anyways and she was ready acclimated to on line schooling. You always do such a complete cleaning! Deep stuff! Great job! I’m so glad you are such a good mama to your son. He will never forget that ❤
@@Lifeinthewyldewest thank you. My boys mean more to me than anything else in the world. I’d do anything for them. We actually pulled Jaxon right before the world stopped by a couple of months. Best decision we ever made for him. I worry so much when I see the consequences of bullying. Some kids can’t take it and that makes me so sad for them and their families. Jaxon is a tender soul and couldn’t cope with it. I’ll never understand why kids (and even some adults) choose to pick on their peers. It’s bad in the nursing profession too. A lot of Seasoned nurses are awful to new grads causing many new grads to just quit the profession. I don’t get it. I’m glad you had a solution for your daughter.
I remember getting picked on and even bullied myself when I was in school and I graduated in 2003. I have two autistic boys, one is 16 doesn't talk at all, and my 11 year old talks but has speech delay. I homeschool both my boys because people bully and make fun of people. They can't help the way they are born. God made them that way for a reason, maybe for them to teach us something. I am glad you was able to homeschool your boy. I believe in homeschooling in certain situations.
@@Simply_Lane the funny thing about getting picked on was cause I wore glasses. They called me a nerd and goody goody. I laugh about it now, but back then at the time I let them kids bother me. I also got picked on because I smelled like cigarettes because my mom, step-dad, and sister all smoked. People need to think before they say mean things, they wouldn't want someone to do it to them. Sorry bullying makes me mad 😡.
@@amandaclayburg8107 it makes me mad too. I really have no tolerance for bullies and we have been through a lot with our son because of it. I just don't understand why people are purposely mean to other people.
I hate cleaning the bathroom.... I leave that to my husband 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. This video is very relaxing.... I never knew watchinf someone clean could be entertaining to watch.
@@kimberlygibson3 thank you, lol. We have 2 and I usually use the master and the guys use the main bath. It’s always so much worse than the master, lol. I don’t mind. Cleaning is kind of my therapy for my ADHD, a coping mechanism, if you will. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 💕
I am so sorry for what your son went through with bullying. My eldest daughter is autistic and was badly bullied at school and that has affected her to this day. I wish I knew better then and protected her by removing her from that system... Today she is a brilliant 26 young woman. Still challenged with this world that has trouble to accept differences 🙏🏾
@@JasenomadeTV 100%! It’s easy for me to understand him because we have the same problems. I was bullied but I was also a fighter so my bullies didn’t do it for long, lol. I also became known as someone who would defend those who couldn’t or wouldn’t defend themselves. He just has a softer heart because he hasn’t had a traumatic childhood like I did. Sounds your daughter is doing so well, gives me hope for my son.

@@Lifeinthewyldewest I know…it’s crazy! I keep trying to figure out how this year has gone by so fast. Thank you for the kind words. We put the laundry in our closet and I’m so glad we did! And I also love my pantry. My husband and I designed and built this entire home all by ourselves. The only thing we didn’t do was drill the well!! It was just a wooded lot less than 4 years ago!
