I wouldn't personally, even different brands with the right spec can cause issues. Fully synthetic Yamalube for me. It may cost more, but if there's an issue by using something else, it'll cost you more in the end.
@@smvsussex I took my mt10 to a Yamaha dealer for an oil change and they put in the yamalube ap 10w40 non synthetic and said I shouldn’t use full synthetic til 1500 miles I told them I wanted the recommended oil
@mikestackz854 I'd certainly be having a conversation with them. It looks like you can use mineral oil, going by the manual, although synthetic is the recommended option.
Great to see you again, and yes, several seem to agree. Went for a ride Friday, and Sunday, and I swear the only other bikes on the road were KTM's 😅😅 It's a sign 😅 now to persuade the other half........

Thank you. Our ceramic coating and treatment from November certainly did its job. It always amazes me how much dirt comes off a vehicle that still looks relatively clean.
