Day trading is hard. It may look easy sometimes, but it's not. Success usually takes years of hard work, discipline, and even certain personality characteristics that can't always be learned or adopted. That's just how it is. My hope is these videos will be entertaining and help others avoid making the mistakes I did.
Don't trade live money until you're consistently profitable in demo, and don't trade with money you can't afford to lose.

Hi Matt, I just wanted to share my story about how you made huge positive impact on my life. Until recently, I was managing a team of 20 people who set up new National Parks to protect threatened species in Australia. Unfortunately, I contracted Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and could not keep up with the job. I was burning through my sick leave and I needed to find a new career that I could live off with a much smaller amount of time and energy. In April 2024 I'd been learning to trade for 6 months, I was breaking even, but my consistency was terrible, and I was stuck. I had three months of sick leave left, and the pressure was really, really mounting. I decided to take your course because you are obviously a genuine person with expertise you wanted to share. In your course, you organised all the trading concepts in a way that enabled me to start becoming consistently profitable and to manage the pressure while trading. I resigned from my job at the end of June 24 I'm now trading full time. It's only been a couple of weeks and I have a long way to go. It not often you can help someone stuck in a dire situation. But by choosing to create your RU-vid channel and a small course, it feels like you have given me a flashlight to find my way out of a dark tunnel. Thank you and best wishes Megan
Matt's videos gave me a lot of confidence but I am still not profitable. I am also based in Australia and I find the time zones to trade are either very late at night or early morning around 5:30am. Do you trade Futures, Options or Forex and which times zones do you prefer? I have been waking up early instead of staying up late which means I am basically trading the close which is not ideal. Matt, what do you suggest?
MATT! , brother. Consider this a friendly message. I hope you're doing well. Don't let that loser get to you-keep making your videos and don't quit RU-vid because of him. You've done nothing wrong. While I haven't followed you closely or bought anything from you, I understand your situation. I've been there myself several times. It's about how we were raised and the lack of education we received-it's not our fault. What you're doing is known as "demand-driven supply" or "demand-pull." This means you're responding to what consumers want, providing goods and services that meet their desires, even if those desires don't align with their needs. This concept highlights how consumer demand shapes the market, influencing the availability and marketing of products, even if they're not necessarily good for consumers' well-being. Think of markets for fast food, sugary snacks, luxury items, cigarettes, vapes, alcohol, drugs, and medicine. Despite the health implications, the term "demand-driven supply" still applies because producers aim to maximize profit by fulfilling consumer desires. You need to come back and continue your RU-vid channel-don't make the same mistake I did. Take down these recent videos and continue your journey, giving people and traders what they want. It's not your job to guide them onto the right path; everyone has their own path to follow. People watch your content because of you, not because of what haters say. Stopping your channel would be far worse than any video mistake or criticism you might face. Don't give in to the haters or let some 20-year-old define you or bring you down. Delete those response videos immediately and get back to creating your content and courses. Come back stronger-right now.
Way to many levels marked, is this a day trading setup? Marking a supply/demand zone on a 15 or 30 min chart and trading on a 5 or 1 minute as simple as it gets for tradings swing intraday.
Matt, thank you for all that you do. I think the answer to all of this noise would be to upload live streams of your trading days, and at most you can timestamp the beginnings and ends of trades. This is likely not great for the RU-vid algorithm, but it would sure give you more time for your family, as well as clear your name. I am a customer, and I appreciate all that you do.
Matt your videos gave me the confidence that I could pursue trading in the future. I have watched every live trading video. I really appreciate the time and knowledge you've shared. I look forward to the idea of live streaming!

I understand that you don't owe us anything and that this whole ordeal is probably very annoying or feels undeserving after all the years of educational content. Nevertheless the latest video just doesn't cut it in my opinion. Just post (anonymized) broker statements/ upload old unedited footage or do a livestream. Why don't you just post very clear cut concise proof? Wish you the best

Just discovered this channel and its great. Im personally under pressure to get a skill thatwill give me financial freedom and i think forex is a great skill to put my efforts into. Still broke af but i will keep learning and practicing on Demo as i wait to have some cash to start real trading.
They are not, though I can see why it appears so. The first entry was what I call a dry fire, in that I entered not realizing the platform wasn’t set to live. I disarm the platform anytime I’m away from the desk and before closing it each day to prevent my cats from touching anything. In this case I realized this, armed the platform and reentered at market which happened to be lower. This is an error and something that happens more often than I’d like but there is no way around it if I want to keep the platform open and not have to repopulate the charts each time I sit down. I explained and documented this, though that part was not shown in the video. I will be responding in due time.
@@mo938 It’s how I’ve always done it. When I close and reopen the program the chart has to repopulate and I have to maximize the window. I turn the keyboard off yes, but can’t turn the mouse off. Linda Raschke told a story of her cat placing a massive trade on her once and I have since been paranoid of that happening. Rest assured I will be setting the record straight on this in due time. I don´t want to believe that you would do anything like what's suggested Matt, but after trading for a few years I know that your results are rare. I really hope you stream your whole sessions for a while or upload exteneded versions of the last 20 prior trades to clear your name. It breaks my heart thinking that a guy I really trusted and defended could be an exploiter. Hope your and your family are doing well.

I thought I had a good strategy and my good strategy ended up blowing a $3200 investment. I took it up to $8900s in 3 days and then poof all gone in one trade. Didn't use a stop. Anyhow, I'd like to learn how to trade properly. New Sub
