I had a 72 J with that same saddle interior. I loved looking out over that long boat hood.

Had one of these 40 yrs ago,same paint/roof colors,but an off-white interior. Modified 455. Used to Drag/Street Race it,had a VERY impressive Win/Loss count! Sadly,mine caught fire & burned in 1985? (Dash/Electrical, I 'Almost' had it out,too? Total Loss.) Many of it's parts did make it onto other Pontiacs & 1971-72 Grand Prix to keep them alive,though.

Had a 72 grand prix,burnt orange and white 400 with a 500 turbo trans,kicked plenty Camaro butte.

It's a beautiful car, but it's a 71, not a 72. Very easily confused. Vertical grill instead of cross hatched and no dividers in the taillights. Also, it's not an SJ. The console says ModelJ. But again, it is an amazing car. Thanks for sharing.
