We are the Stevens, a #travelnursefamily and #fulltimervfamily. Mom, Natasha, is a RN who's worked as a travel nurse since 2016. Dad, Bill, is a taller-than-average (6'10" to be exact) stay-at-home dad. We have 2 quickly growing kids: Bella & Will. Our family wouldn't be complete without our dog, Bernie, a rescue we adopted during our travels. In May of 2017, we sold our home & most of our belongings, bought a RV, and hit the road to travel as a family.
Our channel features our family adventures, travel nurse videos, and RV product reviews. & RV DIY/maintenance videos. Come along on all our adventures, and join us LIVE on Sundays 4pm CST to chat. We promise that we are at least #mildlyentertaining Be sure to follow us on our other social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & Wordpress.
Thanks for stopping by. We're glad you're here. And remember to “Nurse What Makes You Happy!"
Campground preferences? 🌳Nature is priority. If nice trails and pool/lake in or near walking or biking distance from campground, that’s my idea of camping, peace and enjoyment. Not a fan of parking lot RV parks; unless for the convenience of location. Is it worth it to put up with cramped quarters in a ‘parking lot’ camp setting? Depends on the destination I would suppose. Amenities not too important, except I like pools; and lakes and other natural water settings. Organized activities, not so much; enjoy personal activities such as playing guitar, songwriting, jigsaw puzzles, audiobooks, enjoying nature, travel planning, etc. 🎶🎸📚🧩🎨🖌️
Thanks so much for all the information shared! So, are you still considered as traveler nurse even though you get paid as W-2 employee? or as an independent contractor? What would be the appropiate word or words to use in order to land a seasonal job as you did? Thanks again!
Been a member for almost 40 years. Now I am retired and actually have time to use my membership. I switched from RV to tent camping and I find that many of the TT parks do not allow tents! Cabins are out of my price range for any long period of time. I really feel cheated!
If you want to visit Tombstone Arizona. May through October and October they have what they call the Helldorado day's of Wyatt Earp. This is for your information and from a person that did go to school in Tombstone Arizona and had lived in Tombstone Arizona territory from 1956 to 1986.
Thank you for this information. Did you secure this contract with an EIN or LLC? I know it's been 4 years, but i would appreciate it if you respond me. Thank you
Thank you for stopping by and watching. Although I acted as my own agent to acquire the job, I was listed as an employee. So I did receive a W-2 for this contact and another I’ve done since then.
Helloooo and hope you are doing well! Question for you if I may. I'm considering getting the Valor 40V13 and am wondering if you have a difficult time finding campgrounds that will fit the size of your rig. I currently have a 41' Montana so I'm used to the big size, but the Valor takes the size to the next level. Thank you in advance for any light you can shed on my concerns. 😀
Nice to see you both. I’m still travel nursing and in the 5th wheel. But taking only two contracts a year. It’s been a great compromise for my husband and I. Have two new grandkids this year and want to spend more time with them. Soooooo….. time will tell.
Def different ways todo things… we took the summer off and just travel and we usually take 1-2 months off between contracts. Then when we need to replenish the funds we take a contract. Got to find balance!
And just like that Bang!! There you are! Excellent video and great topic! Y’all look great! Paul is so glad you are not snapping at Bill anymore! LOL..
Great job!! My RV is about 8 years old and I've been thinking about "What do I do when my fridge craps out?". Great video of how you guys did it, and it doesn't seem as bad as I thought after watching this video. You all are awesome!
Thanks for posting this vid! You just made me realize that I'll be getting a toy hauler instead of a standard 5th wheel for my next rig. That ramp door will ensure that everything will fit.
I've got a north point they must put this stuff in then put up the wall with no reguard for the poor people that have to deal with these issues, the new ones have outside access to the back of the fridge for cleaning and maitainece must have gotten to many complaints still doesn't make it any easier to remove ,I had to remove my island just to get at the back to clean it
Congratulations on your new adventure. We also decided to hang it up on full-time RV life. We relocated to Ecuador and just absolutely love it. You are 100% correct about the prices of everything in the States.
