Ooh man, completely agree with not attaching the line to the drone in the air, I don't do anything with the crone in the air, just fly it and land it. I crashed mine in the early days and the blades chewed through a 7/0 hook. The propellor wasn't badly damaged and is still in circulation but the hook was cut in half. Good point.
Hey bro, that is an old model. I bought this particular model, and I didn't like it because the images on the remote controller were all in the analogue mode, and there were lots of static and streaks of horizontal static lines all resulting in very poor images. The latest model has corrected this problem as well as replacing those 4 annoying screw on the cap of the drone itself. That being said, the latest Swellpro drone is the best.
What happens when the line gets a snag with that electronic release? Down goes your drone in the drink , better get the gannet sports. Mooi so Engels se boere.
When your buddies run out of bait, need a sandwich and some water!🙃 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yT3RbwWZLV4.htmlsi=XTNNPw30_7q_wj8E
My balance charger doesn't have any menus or options I can set. From the time I turn it on it just says "Please Insert" and it automatically starts doing something with the batteries. But I have no way at all to set anything. I can press stop but then it has a 10 second count down and starts again. Other buttons don't do anything
Your measurements are all over the place, no offence, maybe an editing issue, some of it didn’t make sense. What do you mean by keeping the Drone away from the props? Once again editing issue not checking that you are making sense. 👋✌️
Great info, I have purchased a FD1 for fishing, however I have only been able to calibrate it and the fly about 20 yards before the "Battery Low" indicator came on and the battery won't charge. Have been attempting to correct this issue with the company for over 2 weeks, to no avail. Buy at your own risk.
yes, it will take a little practice to get orientation right, but the new drones are super stable. They basically park steadily in the air until you give them an input with one of the sticks.
I always thought by physics the biggest weight should me close to the drone. as swinging is a real problem when it's long, so it's totally wrong and easier if I rig the sinker or bait couple metres down ?
Great video! Thanks! I need to try this as I'm getting the battery check error on several of my smaller remote batteries but works with one so I know it isn't the cables. I know you said for the larger battery wait until it is between 14.6 and 14.8. What about for the smaller 2s remote batteries?
I'm having problems with my Swellpro FD1 remote. it is giving me the warning (place all switches in the up position). I have all switches in up position when it is saying this. need help
what reel are you using and how do you like it? I have the 3 and am looking for a good electric reel that's not too expensive but can take a lot of line.
I don't wish the swellpro on my worst enemy!!!!! I lost mine, 3 other fisherman I know lost theirs. When retrieved it happened to have water damage. Swellpro did not cover anything. Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish
thanks for the heads up, are there other brands out there that you would recommend. Am contemplating getting one but have not committed yet. Cheers from Sydney Australia
It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with Swellpro. I received my splash4 a couple days ago only to find out that the order was incomplete. In addition to the single axis gimble and payload release, I also ordered two extra batteries and an extra set of propellers. Well, they sent me one defective battery and the attachments but I’m missing two batteries and the extra set of propellers. It’s bad enough dealing with Swellpro‘s lack of customer service, but after having turned on the drone and compared it to my buddies Splash3, this thing doesn’t even have the same quality payload as the splash3. The return process is an absolute nightmare with Swellpro and I still have not successfully managed to get them to send me a shipping label. They just keep trying to go around the issue. I certainly understand and have been patient with the fact that there is a bit of a language barrier given that they are a Chinese company and you are emailing them, but it is obvious when they are dodging questions and keep asking you questions you’ve already answered. The Splash3 is a solid drone, but this one has been a nightmare. I’m done with Swellpro just because of this and I think I will stick to companies who have better customer service from here on out.
This is the swellpro South Africa youtube page, i know for a fact you have not been dealing with swellpro south africa because they make 100% sure that their clients are well looked after
