This is a space for independent creators, story-tellers, and those who seek a higher level of success than the flock. At such a young age I've seen and done a great many things, and love to share these experiences with you. With the hope being that you gain something from all this, because if nothing gained, then what's the point? Oh, and I also take narrative driven games a bit too seriously too haha!
Oh wow! I didn't realize my LIS content was ever in demand. What are you wanting to see? Me love LIS2 some more? Double exposure stuff? Something else?
A very restful video to listen to the wind in the trees, seeing the light play on the log and leaves/shadows & light, seeing the little bugs fly by over and around the log. Wonderful video!!
Somebody in the background isn't staring. See! There he goes.... Walking off. AND TALKING.... I'm out of here. I came to stare at a dead piece of tree and this is what I get? Clickbait.
@@BrandonLake-qv9dw yeah, I kinda messed that one up. I tried to kill two birds with one stone and film this while filming another video with my other camera. But this camera picked up all the audio 💀
@@therandomgamer274 yeah, I'll probably just watch a streamer play it lol. If something happens that blows me away, I'll buy it, but otherwise I have no intentions of supporting it.
I find myself thinking about this the most when paying a subscription fee. Some of my favorite games that I don't own I paid twice what they're worth in PlayStation Plus, and I find it hard to justify not just buying the game outright, especially something I can easily put over 200 hours into. When consuming art like a book, or album, I try not to quantify the cost by how much enjoyment I'll get out of it, but by how much ive contributed to a liveable wage for that creator. I'd easily spend $60 on a digital download of music, and did far more often in the Covid days, because I'm able to appreciate that an independent artist is feeding their family on it, even if it is only one nice meal out. If two people pay top dollar for the project a thousand people might have come across, that's like a days pay that artist didn't have to work a 9-5 to earn. If a thousand people want to pay what they feel it's worth, it all adds up, and can be a car payment or help make rent. Doing that when I have expendable income feels a lot better, to me, than mathing it all out and trying to decide what my next piece of entertainment will be for that fiscal period. Although I do often end up sleeping on new releases until I can afford to treat the people who made them to something nice. Hope you've been well, keep on keeping on, I'm gonna check out one of your books when I get paid if you have a personal recommendation.
Life is Strange Before the Storm = Fan Service at it's best. (Deck Nine Games) Life is Strange (Don't Nod) Captain Spirit (Don't Nod) Life is Strange 2 (Don't Nod) Life is Strange True Colors an Ok Game but pretty much sticks to Life is Strange 1 (Deck Nine Games) Life is Strange Double Exposure a Somewhat Sequel \ Restart to Life is Strange 1. Deck Nine Games only other Game is The Expanse. Meanwhile Don't Nod as 12 Games to their Name and a publisher now. Then your looking for Lost Records: Boom & Rage a whole New Life is Strange series of Games own & Publish by Don't Nod.
@@mattstansbeary3068 you think Square Enox will continue LIS if Deck Nine fails? I feel like Square would just drop the whole IP as compared to their other games, it sure doesn't seem to do near as well.
It's Play the first 2 Episodes 2 weeks Early and get the Rest of the Episodes on Oct. 29th How many Episode will there be No one knows or how long the Episodes are No one Knows and they are being kind going we will respect both Ending while going Please don't play that Game & So far it's a Standalone Bay ending Game. Rumor Chloe may show up for if you Saved her but we really are not making that Rumor 100% yet.
also regarding the same menu thing, you should check out 'The World's End' (the Simon Pegg movie) - there's a great bit when they discover all their favorite old bars had been bought out by the same company, so they keep going into these unique sounding bars only to find the insides all decorated and laid out the same.
I mean that's a good rule of thumb, and all places menu items are in Chinese with sloppy American names written over the top of them in faded ink lol. I thought it was really something!
9:24 I was thinking the same thing. First time I played true colors I kinda guessed that Jed was probably going to be behind all this, like Jefferson in the first game. Plus, the ending had nothing to do with the choices you made throughout the whole game so it doesn't really make sense why they still advertised it as a "choice" game since whatever you do, you will have to pick one of the two bland choices at the end. At least, lis 2 had four endings that summed up all choices you picked throughout the whole game unlike true colors, which was released two years later. I don't like saying this, but Deck Nine sucks at making these games; even before the storm felt more clunky than the original game when I first played it and the story was pointless. I'm not saying that Don't Nod are really good because lis1 and 2 had many story elements that did not make sense either. Sometimes the dialogue was too unrealistic, maybe cringe at times and some events were too forced so that you had to pick between two hard choices. Still, I really liked the two Don't Nod games but it sucks that probably no one knows that double exposure is written by different writters, yet everyone expects a game like the first one which is sad because it's clearly a cash grab because their last game didn't hit as much as they had probably hoped. Anyway, enough yap for today.
Tbh imo life is strange 2 was a flop it was too woke the first game had small elements of pride and real life situations like bullying and depression but two felt like they went too far shoving it down our throats I get racist exist but the first game did it where it felt like reality the second felt like they made it cartoonish with seriousness but I actually enjoyed life is strange true colors probably more than before the storm nothing will replace my love and memories of my first time playing the first but when I played true colors I felt like I did when I played the first game besides you played with powers the second you didn’t I felt like that would make the game funner for me but I get it before the storm and some others u didn’t have powers but those are not main titles again this is just my opinion but lis2 really annoyed me lis tc brought my attention back to the series I don’t mind playing as other characters it’s just the story and i didn’t like it in 2 but I do believe this one is a cash grab but I’m interested still in it
That's totally respectable. I think the reason why LIS2 flopped was because it alienated itself from it's fans. LIS1 told an impactful story with themes focused around LGBTQ relationships and bullying and so forth. In LIS2 none of those themselves were present, so they'd effectively built a fan base who were expecting one thing but got something totally different. From a story telling perspective I really respect that, but it's super tough to do that and not upset your fans. It kinda happened to me in reverse actually, I played LIS2 before playing LIS1 and when I played LIS1 I was like "this is nothing like LIS2 yuck" lol. They did beat players over the head with the racism in LIS2 , but helped to ground things for me honestly. And again, playing the character without powers was a refreshing change for me, I wouldn't want every LIS game to be that why but I think it's great to switch things up from time to time.
@@lachdownproductionsyt when I first saw Max was back I was like YESS but then I realized oh did it really needed to happen it sucks because they did it seemly just to get to fans imo I think the characters only having one story ik the comics are different I think but it’s ok like seeing Steph back was kool ig but I think I liked 3 because sadly I liked the first game and it felt familiar now looking back I feel like did I only like it because it felt like lis 1 because the story was similar idk just something about lis2 didn’t click but tbh I think lis should be a anthology and not be connected to the same timeline seems funny and crazy how many people have powers in the same universe then they would not have to bring back characters maybe parallels but not have it all be connected
I'm in that camp of, I think 2 is a better game, but I love 1 more on like a personal level, and I'm not exactly thrilled with the news. I also hated Before the Storm and thought True Colors was mid, so Deck Nine's track record isn't great with me. I actually wanted to be excited for their next game (I mean, they really did improve between BtS and TC! Surely their next game will have improved even more!, I thought) but bringing Max back for a lazy cashgrab... smh, just say you're creatively bankrupt and go. Her story is over! Let it go!!!
