monogram - letters and initials (for long names) wordmarks or logotype - typeface (short namesp) pictorial marks or logo symbol - symbol or graphic icon (strong brands) abstract marks - pictorial logo but abstract geometric mark (eg : olympic) mascots - an illustrated character to represent the company combination mark - combines text and imagery the emblem - typography inside an icon like badges etc.
Did you say that adding a font to a mascot makes it more versatile because it amplifies the message? I guess versatile means a logo that looks equally great in all sizes and applications as it can work on multiple sizes and canvas
It seams you have no clue about what you are talking. The first misconception is that a logo should say something about the business. No, it must not, think about Apple, Nike, Adidas.... Most of your "simplified" examples are still to complicated with to much colors and hard to reproduce and recognise in small scale.
I love a lot of these styles and they wouldn't be overly time consuming to do. Hope you do a video on thumbnail design as well if you haven't already, those are great.

I was hoping to see some comparisons... My daughter sent a whoop load of designs to a print shop in CMYK format (expressly _not_ RGB), but they all came out as though they had been freshly converted again into CMYK. It ruined her carefully selected colour pallet.
