@@michianaracingchannel412 yeah I think the valve springs and valves will fail, and the oil pump gears will be under so much pressure.I wouldn’t be surprised if you lift the head gasket too especially with boost. And yes the transmission will definitely fail. I’m currently building my k-24 Z3 engine for 300 hp naturally aspirated, all motor no boost.
@@IDGAF56852 we up grades valve springs valves etc and do type s oil pump while the pistons rods and cam remain stock we have a recipe that likes to live depending on the amount of abuse and neglect we give it
@@michianaracingchannel412 i see thank you. i see your motors were relatively high mileage and withholding power. im at 174 but seem to burning oil super excessive and having some pressure light issues during hard cornering. did you burn oil and what oil did you run? Thank you so much again. Amazing build, pls post more of it if its still around.
Soon to join the 500hp d series club. Going with 76mm forged 9.5:1 pistons, eagle rods, css block. For the head I'm just doing springs and retainers with a RM stage 4 cam. All of this on a y7 engine, no i don't want vtec. Less moving parts and non vtec head flows better when ported anyway. I never see non vtec d series builds, and i dont want to just follow the crowd with a typical vtec motor with no notch rods and vitaras. First goal is 500whp, motor will be good for 7-800 so I'll turn it up as i please
