Hey! I´ve been learning Blender for 3 years now and want to share my experience and progress with you. So feel free to accompany me on my journey! Exciting animation, 3D modeling and programming videos are waiting for you.
This is a beautiful foundation for building many interesting skyboxes, you can use a mix of textures and noise even, lots of ways to go from here. Shader code intimidates me immensely so without this I would have likely not bothered. This is pretty basic math at least, that I can understand lol
hmm im on 4.2.2 and having trouble implementing this for GoldGdt addon reason for using this specific character controller is cause it replicates source movement one its what i want for my game and 2 its literally what apexs uses so a apex slide should pair well with this style of controller that being said even after typing out what you have and replacing some obvious stuff with the existing vars in the code im struggling to get this to work it just doesnt do it for some reason :/
This is super cool! I love city builders, so whenever I see one, I'm in. :) Can't wait to see what comes next. I love the name "Hortus" coming from the Latin for garden. Definitely an intriguing name. I know you're early in development, but have you made plans for a soundtrack yet? I've done work for fantasy games and some sci-fi exploration stuff as well for the game Monolith. I can't post links in RU-vid comments, but I'd be thrilled if you could check out my demo reel/qualifications and send me an email. The link is in my channel description. Keep up the great work!
doesnt work, spent 24hrs rendering a fluid animation, tried this, lost all of my progress edit: i dont know for sure, but i think i might be fixing it edit2: i fixed it! however it does take a little bit to figure it out, but it does work
Hello, did you bake your fluid simulation? If not it could be that the fluid simulation starts differently when you restart the rendering. Otherwise it should definitely work
love the detail in the mesh! but you could have saved time but not going so heavy on the front section, seeing as it wont be visible enough with the camera behind the character.
Looking great! A little tip is that the shade of green for the grass might be a tad too bright sometimes. It may be part of the style but a more yellow grass feels more natural and organic to me.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback, will check how it looks. We also plan to create different “biomes“ so the grass will likely vary from location to location
