Roto yellows

I've used a lot of strings like Dean Markley, Dunlop, D'Addario, GHS, Elixir, Ernieball etc. But finally stick using Roto Yellows for a decade. There are two strings that i like the most. Ernieball Slinky and Rotoyellow, Ernienall Ball has more gain but good think about Rotoyellow is about the sound and tension. Roto has warmer sound, it will boost the mid-low frequency without cutting a lot of high frequency which is good if you guys wanna find cleaner sound/ more huge tonally just pick it up. And the tension on this one is just top notch no strings can beats it (roundwound type). Even when the strings are old the tension on Rotoyellow is still damn good, holy.

Question for ya, if I were using the OX just for using my amps with the speaker/cab & mic sims only i.e. no attenuator, would I be able to use this particular de Lisle switcher or would I still need a model with the attenuator option/switch? Thanks and great video!!
@theblindleadstheblind
@theblindleadstheblind 25 дней назад
This amp switcher is designed to go between power amp and speaker cabinets. There would be no need in your case. They do make a model with a straight guitar input. That maybe of help to you.

David graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Opera. His prof wanted him to go into opera, but David preferred to use his talent in Gospel Music. He sang with "The Gaither Vocal Band" for years, then struck out on his own. If you check his itinerary, you may be able to see him live at a local church/concert appearance. We have several times, and he is awesome!

So what were the settings you made on the Kalis for the improvement? I bought a pair almost a year ago now...set them at neutral and relied on their quality to do the job. But recently spent some time experimenting with the different parameters and the changes I made are very noticeable. More work to do but very happy with the Kalis. Oh...BTW...your room is WAY TOO bright!
@theblindleadstheblind
@theblindleadstheblind Месяц назад
It was just speaker break in. That was the difference. I started experiencing distortion in the 2k region. There is a video about that as well. I ended up sending them back.

The HS-8 are very articulate in the higher frequencies which lends itself to good monitoring when listening for source recording and high frequency quality when mixing... The IN-8's can do the same function with perhaps less listener fatigue... In either case, the engineer must know what his monitors do to the sound to get balanced sound and mixes...

I love to know that folks appreciate something, regardless of what it is, as long as it is not something harmful or wicked. Therefore, I am going to be a butt-in-sky and suggest: "Ain't No Grave." I think it is on the same album as this song. It is a very very old song, -simple and kind of in the family with Swing Low Sweet Sweet Chariot. So, if you get a chance. give it a listen. David really touches a lot of folks with his singing. He is not always serious, but I love how he sings not to show an audience all his talents...of course he does, but his primary goal is to glorify God and edify the people ...with his talents and devotion. I have albums wherein he and the other singers are shown at ease, and he seemed shy. I have never met him. But I am aware that is also a carpenter and his kids and wife seem devoted to him and he to them. God bless him, and you too. Nice of you to play these pieces and comment for us. It increases my appreciation for music which is a big thing in my life.
