I was able to share my SharePoint calendar to Outlook, but I don't see all the details from SharePoint. In Outlook, I only see the time (no details). What am I missing?
Thank you for the valuable feedback. We have added this to our list of future videos to make! Make sure you are subscribed to be alerted when we publish it.
hmm, try copying the image to the desktop or C drive and creating the bullet from that image. It sounds like the file is currently stored within many folders and therefore the file name and location are too long for Word to use.
Why did it not appear under the 'Group Calendars' section in Outlook Calendar? I already have a group calendar that I'd like to import events to, but it doesn't appear as an option in the export selection.
It may be an app version issue here, there are always new tools, functions, and methods being added to Office 365. We may create a new video showing new alternate methods for creating Groups and Calendars in the future. Thanks for reaching out!
What is Sharepoint?? Why? Can't we just use the calendar built into Outlook? Why is everything so f-ing complicated these days?? This should be extremely simple and basic for anyone to create just from within Outlook.
I needed to see the Custom Import. You have wasted my time. I need to import from Excel and Import 6 different tabs "Select a Custom Range". Delete this trash or rename this to Quick Import.
Hmmm... I'm still unable to do columns. I use columns all the time, but today for some reason, it won't let me. I've closed everything out and restarted my computer. Still nothing. (sigh) I sure hope I don't have a virus. However, everything else seems to work fine. Any other thoughts?
Great video! Just one question: After you create the group calendar and schedule a new meeting or event, will it automatically send notifications about this new event/meeting to all the members of that group, or do you need to add them one by one when creating the event? Thanks
Whatever video capture tool you were using did not capture all of the relevant windows/tabs. For example at time 3:04 a file dialog box was opened, but this isn't visible in the video. The audio is clear and descriptive, so I can almost imagine what is happening on screen as the cursor is moving, but not quite....
Thank you for your Feedback! Sorry to hear this, it was mostly likely b/c two screens were being used but only one of them was capturing the recording. We will keep this in mind for future videos.
