Memories are odd. I returned to Lauderdale and visited the Galleria and I swear, I recognized very little from my time there in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
Go there only when you like to sit in blasting and pumping beats of music all day. So loud that people staying in neighbouring hotels can't even underestand each other. It's really really bad.

Apparently it’s getting demolished now as of yesterday. Lots of childhood memories. Going the way of the Valley View Mall..Is there a Rolling Giant there ?? …
@@Albert13tv I went by there yesterday after this comment to say goodbye and take a short video. ✌️ watch “The Oldest View part 2 & 3 to see what I mean about abandoned malls and the Rolling Giant. Awesome short film that went viral
Awesome video. I worked there from 1986 to 1988 during the conversion to Oceanwalk. That elevator in your video replace a fountain which was used in the fake vomit scene of Porkies. In fact, a lot of that movie was filmed here. It went from happening place to nothing so fast!!! I also partnered in Sound Tracks which you went by real quick. Would love to see out back by the pool
Thanks for all your videos! Funny, I thought that was you when you walked outside but didn't want to wreck your video! lol You finally caught the fam and I there on vacation. 3:47
When I was a kid in the 80s, my grandparents worked there. Me and my cousin used to wander the hotel and I always believed there was something supernatural there. I looked it up because I still remember my experiences there. I had no idea until now that others had similar experiences there. By the way, everything looks exactly the same as it did back then. The carpets in the hallway, the pictures on the wall, the furniture, the abandoned mall-everything looks exactly the same and hasn’t changed as I remember it from back then.
