I try to upload police pursuit videos every week. My Police pursuit videos are for educational purposes and to show what will happen if you don't follow the rules. The pursuit videos I get from using FOIA requests and all my uploaded videos are publicly available to anyone.
Here's the deal. To be a good at chasing a fleeing vehicle, a few things need to happen. First, if you are driving a marked patrol Police car, you need the element of surprise, and you also need a good catch up start, meaning that when you see a car you want to stop, you need to catch up to that car without your lights and sirens. Once your a reasonable distance behind.. like 5 to 6 car lengths, then you activate your emergency equipment. From that point on... You pace, not chase.. Many officers get tunnel vision on the vehicle they are pursuing.. stay a little back but keep up with the car so that if there any unsuspected moves and turns, the officer can commit to what the fleeing driver does... Just saying. "Pace.. not chase"
Just watched again. Like i dunno 10 times in 24 hours. If there was an award for best high speed chase video, this is my vote. (of course this stupid illegal behavior is just reckless) The lighting in the background is the cherry on top. Incredibly beautiful! Somehow something bad was beautiful at the same time! Officer, amazing driving skills ! You did a great job. Sorry you didn't get that moron. Thank you for your service. Someone get this officer a WARBLER!!!! 😄
Like I said I ain't going to watch it's going to make me mad did the people get their car back no the car Maya has sentimental value to them what does the cops care no does the cops care about your life no do the paramedics care about your life no I know this because I've seen my aunt get killed by the police chasing somebody else without repercussions now you see why I get a little bit mad about it if I told you what I really thought about it RU-vid will kick me off which is the Fourth amendment violation free RU-vid to do there's no such thing as community guidelines that goes against the Fourth amendment and I swore to uphold the laws of the land wake up America oh yeah then I tried to kill me for having a seizure Anna vehicle disabled hit me with four cans of freeze 8 tasers four pair of handcuffs pass me in jail over 9 months for having a seizure no I do not like the police by any means
This is only 1/3 of the actual chase besides one pursuit car wrecked this chase made a unprecedented two charger pursuit cars breakdown on the driveline in this chase.
Its a different deal when you come up against someone who can truly drive !! This was not a punk kid making bad driving decisions , this cat could drive !!!!!Well sometimes you get the ( Smokey BEAR) and sometimes the Bear gets you ) TROPPER, YOU BEEN HAD !!!..LOL.
All of you stating anger issues he has a perfect right on two things. As a former LEO anything that commands a chase, high crime (example felony, domestic) communications automatically lets out a long loud beep and states all traffic switch to channel two. Other officers not involved shouldn’t be calling stupid shit on the same channel a pursuit is going on. And two these drivers need to get out of the way! Move to the right! It’s not hard to yield! It’s called the Move Over Law and is punishable in all states. I can go on about other things but I already know the idiots who have watched too much tv will comment with sass back.
Yes, ARP hit an innocent person causing them to roll over, you can see the ARP cars radiator steaming from the collision when the officer stopped to check on the accident before returning the pursuit!
This wasn’t a “pro” driver; it’s just another felon who was fleeing an ASP officer who didn’t have luck on his side. You can tell this officer allowed his emotions to take over delivering a solid pursuit; had he not allowed his emotions to cloud his actions, it would have been another apprehension for him. I can see it clearly that that’s what happened. Credits are earned and not given - and surely not to some felon who was on another reckless drive on the town.
