aren't all brittany's originally from france? never seen one that wasn't orange and white w/blue eyes. this dog kinda looks like a field bred springer spaniel

French brittanys have a different breed standard and allows for more colors.

Us standard only allows for orange - the french ones hunting style is a bit different and some people have imported them for huntimg.

You might be more familiar with the more French sub-variety of the Brittany. Some people differentiate the "American Brittany" & the "French Brittany" where the American is a littler taller & less stocky. Luna is technically closer to an American Brittany but I don't like differentiating between them so I just call them all "French Brittany's".@@cloudbuster77

@@calebs8279 All the brittany's I've seen in America are while and orange w/blue eyes. Your dog looks more like a Field Bred English Springer Spaniel.
