@@bumblebiandri Yes, shield or any weapon. Also it boosts guard counter damage for the next attack depending on the number of deflections done. The stamina consumed while deflecting is based on the guard boost of that weapon. Use heavier weapons if you aren't using a shield. The window to deflect is very forgiving unlike Sekiro and Lies of P.
I wish they added scripted Sandevistan moments. Like when Alex pulled a gun out on Reed and V. Theres an option if your reflexes are 20 where you disarm her. They should’ve made one for if you had a sandevistan, you could use that to disarm her. Or when you meet up with Reed and he puts a gun to your ribs, I wouldve loved to show Reed up in that moment.
Enemies get really tanky in later NG+s because the scaling on their damage negation gets pretty high which is why even though it seems like not much this is indeed a lot of damage Could it be better? Probably
@@punkwizard9674 There's a new crystal tear called the deflecting hardtear in the DLC. If you time you guard while it's active you don't take any damage plus it does boost your guard counters depending on the number of deflections done.
