they shut the fishing industrys down so the next generation would have no job and then would have to look further afield for work they are patient 2 decades there plan worked
I love hull also paul, my father was a trawlermen and family from hessle.went back last year to show me girlfriend, hull fair,wilberfprce house,streetlife, the old joke shop,threatre, good old chip shop pattie,brandy snaps.
Fantastic video which makes me wonder why anybody could say a negative thing about Hull/ Just one small point which the statisticians would probably love. It says on some part that Hull was the second badly bombed city after London. Well, in actual fact if we look at the per cent age of Hull's housing stock which was destroyed and the per cent age of people killed then Hull suffered much worse than London.
Well done Paul I enjoyed watching your video it was very well put together and full of very usefull information. I am a Hull lad born and bred and am so proud of that fact. Many people use you-tube to make the City look worse then it actuary is. Granted yes our city still has its undeveloped arias slum housing and abandoned industrial property's but what city of its size and age hasn't. The city of Kingston Upon Hull is full of history with its old building museums and fishing memorabilia littered all around us as a constant reminder of what our city and ans-esters have achieved over the years past and that really shines through in this video. Hope to see you upload more of your Hull based videos in the future
