My oldest memory (I'm 75 now) is a trip to Havana and Hotel Nacional at age 3 in 1951. Have always wanted to return. Your excellent video hastens that desire.
What an incredible compliment. Thank you! And thank you for sharing your memory. I wonder what your prespective would be returning to city, the country and the hotel. Keep me posted please if you do make it back!-
Always a good question... well... if there are no facilities and I'm out in the wild, I do what wild creatures do. Find a place out of the way, create a little hole, do my business and cover it up 😬🫣
I stopped running my knee kept hurting, I read the book born to run, and Scott Jurek book eat and run. I never had issues running in the army. Watching this is motivating to run again but change workout routine like core exercises, hip and glute stretches. No more excuses. I got lucky and met Chris Mcdougall in Santa Cruz for a book meet and greet back in 2016. Love the video
Thank you for watching and for the incredibly kind compliment. Must have been a great moment meeting Chris. That's awesome... Sorry to hear about your knee. It sounds like with a bit of an altered workout routine maybe you can find what works for you now and find a way to press on, back into it. Different than before, but forward looking with strength, strteches and proper rest and recovery. You got this!
You're welcome. Not sure if you're intending so be somehow derogatory with this comment or not, but either way, I'm happy to have put some creative style out into the world. If you're inspired enough to try something new in your wardrobe, that's awesome! If you're inspired enough to reach out and leave me a comment- thank you! I love and appreciate you being here. Wishing you lots of love (gay love)- 😉🏳️🌈
Hello my friend. Unfortunately I haven't tried the golf shoe myself. If it fits anything like the sneaker I imagine it's both supportive and comfortable on the foot. Wishing you a great day!-
Well done Ryan! I live in Toronto but Mexico is my second home. We have a house in Gomez Palacio, Durango. I hope to make it to the Copper Canyons some day and participate in the run. Cheers!
That's great! I've never been to Gomez Palacio, but have heard wonderful things about it. The Copper Canyons is def a must if you're ever able to make it happen. Wishing you all the best, and thank you for watching the video!-
Doesn't take much for you to laugh your ass off apparently. To answer your non-question- bc I love the feeling of grooming to look my best and bc I'm ticklish. That said, thanks for the engagement here. I appreciate it! Have a good one.
I loved the book I have just moved to Australia and probably bought my 8th or 9th copy. I give them away to people who like running or get into it. If it’s not my favourite book it’s definitely in the top 3. I always re read it when I need to fall back in love with running. . .I’d love to get to the Copper Canyons one day please god. .☘️
I love hearing this! I had a similar reaction when I first read the book. So much of it continues to resonate and inspire when I need it. Love that you give it away to budding runners. Such a great gift idea. And yes, yes, one day you must try getting to the Copper Canyons; it's truly a special place. Wishing you all the best!
Hi Jack. What I think you might be looking at toward the beginning of the video is a brown salsa in a bottle; the end drink is a refreshing margarita :)
Beautiful Video. If been studying the original migration of people from Asia who came over The Bering Strait. I’m a native Californian. My retirement time has left me bored and finding new ways to entertain myself. 555 I’m raised in The San Francisco Bay Area and The Ohlone Indians have great history here. San Jose, California. I had seen a Genetic Chart of The Migration History and noticed my Grandmothers Heritage of being a Tarahumara Indigenous Peoples. I watched a Food Video and your Video. Out of interest to see the Landscape of where She came from. It was beautiful and fascinating. Full filling to watch your Video. Thank you for taking the time to share this. It’s very important to me. She has passed on. Many years ago, as I’m now 70 years old. She never talked much about Her Home of Chihuahua other than to say it was a difficult life and to Hell with it. She loved California. San Jose and Santa Clara Counties Fertile Valley.
Thank you for watching, and for sharing so much about your ancestors, your mother and interests. I always find the migration of peoples interesting.. how and why do we settle where and when we settle in certain locations. It's fascinating to me. Sounds like you enjoy the research as well. So glad I was able to help illuminate the region your mother came from. It's a difficult life down there now; I can only imagine how much more so it must have been years ago. Thanks again for being here. I appreciate you-
Whomp whomp you mean? Bc you didn't get one for Father's Day? Sorry friend; there's always a good reason to get one for yourself and snuggle in. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it-
It doesn’t make sense to get multiple just to collect them because they’re expensive. It would make more sense to just buy new labels for the ones you have and have enough or think of your routine and buy that amount plus either an extender or an extra or 2 just in case
Hi! Thank you for your comment. Totally understand what it is you're suggesting. Perhaps 'collecting' wasn't the correct word I should have used in the video; I try to only purchase what I need, what I'll use. Again, thanks so much
Oh wow, thanks for commenting with this. I wasn't aware of the LA to Las Vegas run but am going to look into it. Thank you! And thanks for stopping by the channel 🙏
@@ggggggg681 or it means I didn’t use it properly- most like the case as it was my 1st time using it 🙄 Tasted delicious and that’s what matters! …But I get it, always easier to hate lol
So glad you liked it! Thank you for watching. And yes indeed, there are so many wonderful places throughout 🇲🇽! Such a beautiful country with many small, lesser known areas 🙏
Amazing! Thank you for this fantastic comment. I was aiming to be fair and honest while not diving into the extreme politics of it all. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and commenting 🙏 Thanks again
Who's we? That's my city of origine and I'm not able to ever return because I publicly criticized the communists in power. Normal ordinary Cuban citizens are banned from entry if the speak truth outside Cuba or get jail time. That's the real Cuba. Not the lovely music to entertain the blind.
I’m so incredibly sorry for the pain and anguish the government has caused you. Nothing in my video was attempting to overshadow that; rather this video series seeks to acknowledge the difficulties in the current situation while also looking forward with the hope that by building connections, we might build toward a better future first and foremost for people like yourself and other Cuban citizens (and in relations with the US). Thanks for taking the time to watch-
