Back before the days of RU-vid, a group of friends started The Long Island Chevelles Car Club. An associate club of ACES (The National Chevelle Club) we were exploring ways of getting the word out to increase our membership. We started doing a local Public Access TV show called Long Island Chevelles TV. Within 6 months we had over 250 members and the club was going strong. We then began to upload our shows on what was then Google-Video, a precursor to RU-vid. We had about 50k views for each episode, and back in those 'olden days' that was huge!! Then along came RU-vid, but we couldn't put our shows there because in those early days you couldn't upload long or large videos, so we put some short promo clips up. Well, quite frankly, life just got in the way and our 'show' took a break for over 10 years. During that decade RU-vid exploded and what we were once doing is now very commonplace. Recently we decided to bring it back, a little lighter and a little better quality.
Lasfit led bulbs and Auxbeam makes some nice bright LED I’ve seen the headlight bulbs for August theme but they’re a great company but I have seen you can go on RU-vid they have videos of place forLasfit bulbs they are really bright they’re cost a few dollars Do you guys have an automotive business maybe reach out to them about opening an account but you should really review like although last visit videos they have online with their LEDs for the headlights and tail lights the blinkers that are switchbacks there fog light bulbs that are switchbacks light they make great stuff there headlight I mean their bulbs are top notch and actually I’ve only seen last but they’re like bars they have the single the thin ones and from what I hear everybody says for the money like the bars are made really well it’s just a company that made great stuff and actually I heard they’re out of California so you’re supporting American company no I don’t know about everything they get but I have seen other companies that they they make their own lights now I’m sure some stuff comes from China but like I said the companies are in America and they really take care of their people especially if you do videos advertising on their product I see a lot of people they get the last fit they send them the front plate so when you’re installing and when you’re done and you’re showing up right they are you will see the last fit license plate on the front so you can advertise but they’re amazing and if you have any problems with the LEDs but I forget those things they make correct that the flashing red flashes real fast or something like that I’m new to all this I just bought my truck like two months ago
Does it have an aftermarket radiator? Aftermarket rafiator dont have a restriction in the small hose to the water reservoir. That will give you long warm ups.
Great video for a worst case scenario. Am getting ready to tear into mine tomorrow. Hopefully, I don't run into any rust issues. Am in Arizona, so... I dont think so, but who knows.
I rinse out diff both front and rear with brake cleaner. Gets any debris out that may be in there through the drain. I let it sit a while to dissipate before filling
Having same problem but I put a 2008 5.3 in a 2004 truck. Cam sensor is in front on timing cover. New genuine delco sensor no luck. What part number do I need?
Great job on restoring a model 75. Also I’m just finishing it up and it’s looking good. Thanks for the information there’s not much on these machines.👍🇺🇸👍❤️
I replaced the pins in my 2002 GMC Sierra. The door is a lot better but it was still low in the back and did not line up correctly. I took a 4 by 4 and a floor jack, Put the 4 by 4 under the flat part on the bottom of the door towards the rear of the truck, closed it as far as I could with the 4x4 underneath, put the floor jack underneath that and jacked it up literally bending the door slightly. that fixed it and now it works as it should.
Thanks so much for the advice on removing the fan from the engine. I used a c clamp to create tension . Worked like a charm..wish i would have watched this first..would have saved 45 minutes.
I've got a similar problem, but it doesn't deal with activating the turn signal. My problem is this: A few days ago I disconnected the battery. When I reconnected the battery, , my hazard lights were on all the time, plus some of the Interior dash lights were flashing off & on (The 'Telltale' & 4wd indicator lights). At first, I thought it was one of those 'Service Security' issues which requires you to do all kinds of crappy key in for 10 minutes key out for 10 minutes for seemingly hours. It now seems like it is not one of those problems because the Suburban starts and drives without any issues.. I pulled out the hazard switch & it still malfunctions. So, now I'm going to try your FIasher idea, because you definitely hear the Flasher clicking off & on. I will report back.
This was super helpful and brilliantly explained. I had the volume issue with Waze & Apple Carplay in a brand new 2024 Subaru with an 11.6" vertical screen and a single volume control (Sydney Australia). The fix was the exactly the same as in your RAM. I had been trying to figure this out for 2 weeks. Keep making these videos please - you are really an expert with this and it's mind blowing you are making these videos that reach out and help folks right around the world!
I really wanted to get the GooLoo jump starter. The problem I am having with it is the "Bag" when I went to look for one with the hard case it was $40 more on Amazon. All other brands come with a hard case, if you want to buy the case on Amazon it would cost $30, really!! Really!! This is one of the reasons a lot of companies are going bankrupt and losing their business because of the marketing tools that they're using to rob the consumer.I bought the AVAPOW 4000A Peak for $60 it was $80 on Amazon with a $20 coupon and it works great and has a booster button and high-grade cables. Why spend $129.00 plus $30 for a case.
I have had 5 batteries fail over the last 2 years. They are made so cheap now and I believe the junk batteries that are recycled or brought back as cores are being cleaned internally, given new cases and sold as new. I talked to the mechanic at the local Walmart service center because they didn't have a single battery on the shelf and she told me that they had to send back the entire truck load of "brand new" batteries because they all failed to hold a charge. The Everstart rep said it was the fault of the loaders for not grounding the vehicle when it was being loaded which is a crock of BS
Do you have any advice for why my car doesn’t want to start after driving it? I have this same motor, I used your video to help swap out the two coolant sensors. I’ve also changed plugs wires cap and rotor. The temps are always between 185 and 195. I’m sure the thermostat was changed before I took possession of the car because there was an old thermostat in the glovebox. Batteries fully charged on a trickle charger. I’ve checked fuel pressure which reads 42, after ten minutes that reading drops to 32. After this video I plan to look into changing out hoses.
Sorry, that last one was all jumbled. I have a 2015 Buick. Enclave. Want to order a new fob From Amazon and programming? Does that mean I need 2 new fob or will my old one still work?
I lost one of my remotes to my Buick on clave twentyou're uncle.I'm clever.I want to get a new one-off of Amazon. What does that mean I need to get two of them because my original other one that I have will no longer work ?
Nice job. I recently replaced the 3/16 tube from the front to rear on a 2001 Dakota. I bought copper nickel from a local parts store, tube nuts, and brake guard. I bent and flared the tubing, then snaked it through the original path and clipped it in. That was in Rockland county, NY.
I'm not sure there are any more new GM switches available. I believe you replaced GM#15883323 and I have been unable to locate any site where it didn't say "discontinued".
@@AxlesGarage Yep. One is on its way now - hopefully better than the one I have. Your video helped me rationalize that with exception of the "driver door ajar" signal, most of the other wonky things going on - like loss of the power mirror turn signal indicator, no mirror heat, no mirror memory, no mirror dimming, erratic local lock actuation - are all functions routing through the Driver Door Module (DDM) and probably share a common problem.
