Thank you for your video. After dropping off a car 80 miles away on my way back, my dolly was swaying like a dog's tail. I pulled on the side of the freeway and applied your method, and no more swaying very helpful video
Thanks, great video! Mine just likes too get the right side stuck and i have to get out and push down with my foot on front of kart while pullimg up so the wheels are no longer outward, hope that makes sense. I ordered shocks and tie rod ends because those are shot, last owner about 325lbs.
This is an excellent idea. However, you need a parallel connection to the main water line. In this case WTF Garage had a "garden hose parallel-wise connected". I don't have this at my cottage. I have a leak between the meter and the structure as well. Couldn't find it by digging.
I'm doing a major overhaul /conversation. The predator is off a twin cylinder Honda is on. I'm going to dirt drag it. Before I pulled the motor I got it running . Had to buy a carb but was glad I did. The steering was so bad only to be out done by the brakes. You would have been better off draging a stick. I put bushings in the front end ,billow bearings on the axel and rotors and calipers front and rear. The racing season starts in 3 weeks and still stuff to do! Got to go. 👍👍🏍👀
Its a streaker dd9 i just picked one up for 100 with a locked up predator 212cc i got the 212cc unlocked and running with a little WD-40 adn carb cleaner
I started out with a ford escape then used a ford explorer. Just upgraded to an old Chevy 2500 this year. Everyone tells you you’ll mess your car up. Sometimes messing up an suv is cheaper than buying a truck. Do what works for you! Love the hustle. The amount you save in gas alone is worth using SUV’s. I pulled a 16 foot dual axle with a scag 61 inch v ride and a 36 inch v ride roughly 4K pounds gross on the explorer
Glad im not the only one lol. I pull my 5x8 trailer with my honda civic and run a 48" walk behind. My fully loaded trailer is probably 800-900 lbs. Barely notice a difference in gas mileage. Helps keep profits as high as possible. That mower you're using is crazy heavy for your vehicle. Almost twice the weight of my fully loaded trailer on just your mower and you have a smaller engine. Most 4 cylinder vehicles have a tow capacity of 1000 lbs. Your mower alone is 140% of that. Fully loaded with the trailer is probably just shy of 2000 lbs. Thats like 65% the weight of the vehicle you tow with.
Yeah the mower is just under 1400. Trailer is like 650.lol. I'm looking for a truck for sure. I pulled my 2020 stx1500f in and out the water and to the lake with no problems. This is significant much more weight.
Not yet. I bought that car new in 2015. Been pulling motorcycles and all kinds of stuff and now have over 400k miles on it. I am looking for a truck also.
Thanks for a solid video! I am literally about to assemble my new machine and didn't know how to deal with the 2 air lines that are in the cabinet and plug into the bottom of the main post... your video just saved me a major headache :) I appreciate the help 👍
Nice work. I have used this before as well. If you can't find the leak because you can't see the standing water, you may still hear the hissing of air escaping. I had to use a cheap stethoscope 🩺 at each tap/faucet in my yard, to figure out where the hissing was loudest, and then listen carefully for the hiss. It was a bit more trouble, but still easier than digging.
Mine has a clamp with a set bolt to tighten on the tongue so as to take up the slack and stop the swaying. It stops it too. Until the last time I went out to look at a car and on the way it started swaying again until hitting a bump and it would stop for a while. Glad the deal fell through on the car, because when I got almost home I stopped and took a close look at what could be causing the sway to stop at times when hitting a bump and found the axle cracked all the way through and the left tire leaning like a mother. Time for another tow dolly I suppose.
