Made the rockers on my Cherokee out of the reflectors from them ceiling heats big warehouses have thick aluminum and the bend was already perfect last for years and years
The rustoleum is holding up better than the springs, but is has degraded a bit. A good annual oil coating with something like Fluid Film will slow down or even stop the advancement of rust. I used to spray it when I lived in NH and it made my Jeep last a lot longer than most.
I receive completely same machine for free, as a gift after buying big TIG machine. Still not open the box, may be present it to friend in untouched state. I already have small MMA machine but not so small. Wonder that it works!
That's a great idea, but you could also go to any sheet metal shop to buy it cheaper and thicker, cheaper doesn't really matter but a heavier gauge of sheet metal would probably be better
Sweet ride, I made one similar to yours 2 years ago. Used a 6.5 hp vertical honda engine. Got it out of a pressure washer that the pump cracked on. Put that in a troy built little pony that the engine broke. Did a pully swap 4 inch front &5 inch on the transaxle. Used the stock variable pully with a shorter belt. gps on my phone said 28 mph & thats plenty fast for a 8year old. lowerad the seat hood steering & lowered the suspension 4 inches. that made it feel even faster plus cornering got tighter with less chance of roll over. Added a sturdy home built roll bar & a 4 point harness for added safey. .
Man , I got this vanguard 18 HP that cranks off gas poured in the carb , but won't run a lick otherwise , do you think if I pull that fuel shut off solenoid out I'll be able to see it actuate when I put power to it because it acts like it's not letting any fuel by. Pulse pump is good.
I know this is an older video, but I recently purchasd one of these off a co-worker, and have found it hard to get information on parts. I was under the impression the belt was a 95".. but as I have found out that is the wrong size, so i have no clutch to this setup.. Will have to head to the local TSC and see if they have a 97-97.5" in stock.. was wondering where you were able to find the information on the bekt sizes, as I need to replace my deck belt that is too long and keeps slipping off
My craftsman t110 riding mower is like that. My problem is it won't go up the slightest hill. I have to put the gear in reverse, then forward, and do it again and again. Would your technique fix my situation?
If you could have used aluminum instead od steel the 22 watt would technically cut it but my buddy has the 40 watt laser, and that would make things a lot easier in comparison but yeah... it takes a while but the 22 watt cuts aluminum and a lot people say it cant and im not sure why... i watch it do it all the time... i never thought to use it for tenplates for a steel cnc company tho... pretty cool.
You need to kill the mold or Lichen First with some bleach or house wash same thing except cheaper, the pool bleach at walmart is the cheapest. Remember when you hit the mold to remove it the pressure washer will atomize whatever you're spraying into the air, you know the stuff you breath ! I don't like the chemical tank before the hose it can Deteriorate the hose and when you get ready to rinse you have to first run the hose out.
With all those Vertical shaft engines you got laying around, I'm surprised you haven't built a Frankenstein pressure washer. I just replaced a 2800 psi pump for $80 dollars and you could probably use your Existing hoses. Although I would upgrade to a 50 ft Uber flex for $50 dollars.
Yes sir . Is it still going. How did it hold up so far. Im thinking of the opposite need horizontal Kohler command for 2542 gt cub cadet. I can get a vertical o e lot cheaper than horizontal. And do hace my horizontal one complete so should have case's or mostly anything but internals as mine locked up. THANKS
Just had the same model given to me, got it running was told the hydro was bad however, the belt is completely loose, going to use your video to help fix the problem. Good video, 😊
Transax transplant I have a 30 y.o. Murray 11/36ic that was increasingly difficult to change gear. I acquired another transaxle 10 years ago, and seeing it has 10 years less use than my one so it must be in good or better condition...right? Put it on, and now the mower won't move forward or back. I see the drive belt is turning the rear pulley on the transax. I lift the back up to see if there is the slightest movement and there is nada. 😑 Any ideas anyone...
