I own twenty acres and will retire from Military in a few years. I’ll need something for grass cutting and to clean my ditches out. What would be the most beneficial for those two things (recommendations)?
Go with the B series. Can mount a mower deck underneath it, has all the options for bells and whistles with cab and auxiliary functions, more power than the bx series, and it will fit in your garage.
On the Kubota 3350 what causes the main hydraulic ram housing to explode,,,, twice ... Right after being changed, the new one exploded in the Same place ?? Comments appreciated 👍.
Nope, a 3e is about the size of a 2032R, but with less lift capacity and economy features. Its Kubota counterpart is an L2501. A 3d would match an L DT. A 3R is the next size up, might be close to a Kubota grand L.
There is a new air cleaner system, makes it possible to open the radiators out further. Although i suspect if you fit a front pto the pto oil cooler will cancel out those benefits. The air cleaner box is a new design though, the old one filled up a little too quickly.
DO NOT BUY JD PARTS MADE IN CHINA!!!!! After a year parts are falling off due to not tightened right at the factory. JD uses Kubota tranny now. Height limiter on the 60" belly mower will wear out due to cheap extruded aluminum. My 2005 JD 2210 was built MUCH better and lasted 18 years. This one is a little over a year old and falling apart. JD does NOT care and will not warranty anything past 1 year.
Sorry, but the SCL1000 looks like a flipping nightmare to maintain. I've seen 1000 hr reviews and the machine looks like it went thru a mad max film, and has had endless repairs. Goofy little joysticks, bad fuel delivery, the list goes on. Far too many electronics for a serious working machine. I am extremely disappointed in Kubota. They really dropped the ball on this unit.
I have one where the u connectors going into the gear box have too much up and down play. Can't figure out why that is as everything seems connected and tight
I wish I looked at different mowers before buying a Kubota Z726X what a pos this mower turned out to be. Only has 300.3 Hours on it and I have changed two coils, the Fuel pump, Starter, and one spindle. Cost me over 12k and I was going to trade it in and they were only going to give me 4300.00 for it. Never again Kubota for a lawn mower-Love my L3901 Tractor the mower sucks.
I don't recommend a Kubota Sidekick, I have owned one for 3 years now, bought it new. Check the online manual error codes...almost every one says "take it to a dealer". Like I have nothing better to do than pack this up, travel to a dealer and unload it, travel back to get it and then pay a ridiculous labor and parts bill. I have an reoccurring error 36 , speed sensor. Take it to dealer it says the manual and can find nothing on what action I can take. BTW it seems to run ok with the error.
