Living on a Dollar actually crime in the city and surrounding areas has continued to decline! Thanks to the university and an expanding and diversified economy Prince George has lots to offer! And it’s growing! I’m an RN here in Prince George at the University Hospital of Northern BC and my wife works for the Forestry Ministry Downtown. It’s an awesome place to live, work and grow!

Taehyungs DirtyLaundry , I have read the title. “UBC Knock off in Prince George, BC”. There’s only one provincial University in BC and you can’t just add the word “north”, that’s a dirty move. Look at Uvic for example, they didn’t name their institution as University of Southern British Columbia because the name is already inferior to UBC.
One flight a week to Mexico makes this airport an international airport. Lol. What a joke. Also, lengthened the runway for bigger planes although it is only used for Dash 8's and 737's. And, most recently, no flights in or out for three days due to a problem with the tower. Ya, great little airport you have there.
+Urinal Mint I do recall a 747 freighter stopping in YXS, yeah its a smaller stop but I give them credit for making much more progress than other airports in the north... the YXS operations staff is really helpful in getting planes in and out in my experience. (written as a passenger & pilot)

Waaaay over due for patients in Northern BC and the Yukon to get better and 'closer to home' cancer care!! Expecting patients to travel to Edmonton or Kelowna or Vancouver for treatment, away from families, support or any opportunity to continue to work was always hugely stressful and irresponsible. Cancer patients already have such huge emotional, physiological and financial stressors...this will help ease the burden.
