Never use ice on a burn! Never wrap tightly. Never use your thumb when checking for a pulse, it has a pulse of its own. Compression bandages should go on the skin, not over a sock.
Are you just putting the water right inside of the sink when you open it or are you popping it out and putting it where the drain comes in taking the tube out
The safety rules for cold stress: Keep extra clothing (including underwear) handy in case you get wet and need to change. Drink warm sweetened fluids (no alcohol). Avoid touching cold metal or wet surfaces with bare skin. Use proper engineering controls, safe work practices, and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by your employer. The three types of cold stress: When the body is unable to warm itself, serious cold-related illnesses and injuries may occur, and permanent tissue damage and death may result. Types of cold stress include: trench foot, frostbite, hypothermia, and chilblains. Treatment of Cold Sensitivity : Keep the heat in your home by closing doors and blocking drafts. Keep the heat on. Eat and drink warm foods. Exercise (if it is OK with your healthcare provider) Avoid cold environments when possible. Cold Work Hazards:The long term effects of working in cold may include arthritis (wear and tear of tissue), rheumatism (damage of tissue from immune response), breathing difficulties (bronchitis) and heart disease due to the strain placed on the heart from changes in blood circulation. Causes of cold stress: Four factors contribute to cold stress: cold temperatures, high or cold wind, dampness and cold water. A cold environment forces the body to work harder to maintain its core temperature of 98.6oF. Cold air, water, and snow all draw heat from the body. Probably wouldn't be able to. After watching a couple of videos and learning that the pay is decent, it inspired me to look for a job doing this. It uh, didn't go over well. I live in a big city and some are just 3rd party vendors for unknown companies. The local companies I was able to get ahold of weren't hiring, at all. One guy who answered the phone, lots of background noise and he sounded baked. Also not hiring. This economy sucks. I wasn't able to get a job knowing the vice president of a company. Wasn't able to knowing a friend who knows the owner of a company. I can't even find a job cleaning porta-potties.
I thought so to but I did it for over a year pay was decent and benefits are amazing! Still with the same company. They even paid for my class a. Don't clean toilets anymore. I drive the tanker full of waste to local water recycling plant. It's not a bad gig and really easy to move up. Can live a decent life just off of cleaning toilets tbh
