Having just done this with my wife's 2004 Jetta, my advice to anyone doing this is to learn a number of German Swear words. They will com in handy. I have large hands and was unable to get enough room to get he old bulb removed without removing the battery also. It was then a relatively simple procedure. Thank you for the video!
the plugs on all toyotas are Sumitomos, just read the number on your plug and pop it into google, I made a camera plug for a second camera in my Truckbed-Camper, that way I can see while backing up with the thing on

TYVM brother! Literally changed my bulbs as I watch this. The only reason it took me a little longer is because I didn’t fully listen to the you have to push and turn the bulb to get them out 😂
Instead of trying to pull the plug off the light just turn the ring and pull the whole thing out. Much easier for me that way. Otherwise this is what I needed. Been too long since I did this to remember. 2003 Jetta still goes to and from work
Just did the driverside. I tore out the styrofoam and it was 2 minutes after that. If you don't have the kit that fits into the holder, you don't need the styrofoam. it's just in the way for no reason.
They stopped making them so the price has started to rise on them when my friend purchased this one I think it was around 3,500 and now I think you're going for closer to 4k.
Hey Nick! Thanks for the video! I got the same car, same color, and same problem! Lol I even live pretty close to you, I'm in the Colorado Springs area. Anyways did you ever get this fixed? I'm trying to disconnected the clutch pedal from the master cylinder, and it's an absolute b**ch! Getting the white clips off from the master Cylinder is a nightmare, any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
So I did the master cylinder myself but then a month later the slave cylinder blew out. I got the pedal disconnected pretty easily but putting it back together was not hence why I did not make a video because I was swearing at it at my kitchen table
Australia is weird. Here, we call fries “chips” and at the same time, what Britain calls crisps, we call them chips as well. However, in Sydney, many restaurants do have the term “fries” used instead of chips in their menus, and in our McDonald’s, everyone says fries instead of chips.
I changed the I have one tail light out on my drivers side. Just bought the same bulbs and changed the one that was out but it’s still not working 🫤I checked majority of my fuses they don’t seem to be blown so I’m a bit confused
