I commonly elaborate on various topics related to Alvin and The Chipmunks. Such as the history of the franchise, explaining aspects about the cartoons and films, addressing misconceptions, and more. I also like topics such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Transformers, as well as media relating to biology and animals.
If the chipmunks were in the mcu and Tony Stark was still around, guarantee Tony would also call them “build a bears” like he did with Rocket, also Thor would probably call them rat or mice knowing he calls Rocket a “rabbit” 😂😂😂😂
i think cgi series simon x brittany or simon x janet or simon x eleorno they look great they go out and also cgi alvin x brittany or alvin x eleorno or alvin x janet they look great they go out
I know who will acquire AATC and keep it alive for generations to come, Sony. *(DISCLAIMER: THIS IS SOLEY MY OPINIOIN, DON'T TAKE THIS PERSONALLY, I DON'T WANT ANY FLAME WARS)* If Sony Pictures Entertainment were to acquire the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise, several strategic moves and outcomes could be anticipated, leveraging Sony's extensive experience in entertainment, animation, and multimedia production. Here’s a breakdown of potential developments: *Expansion into Sony’s Media Platforms* - *Film and Television Production:* Sony could produce new AATC movies and TV shows through its Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation divisions. This could include both animated and live-action/CGI hybrid formats, expanding the franchise's presence in theaters and on television. - *Streaming Content:* Sony could leverage its deal with streaming platforms like Netflix (which currently streams Sony Pictures Animation content) to distribute new Chipmunks content, potentially creating exclusive series or specials. *Creative Revitalization* - *New Storylines and Music:* Sony's creative teams could introduce fresh storylines, modernizing the Chipmunks' adventures and music to appeal to contemporary audiences while maintaining the charm and characteristics that have made the franchise beloved. - *Collaborations with Other Franchises:* Given Sony’s portfolio, there could be opportunities for crossover projects with other properties owned by Sony, such as "Hotel Transylvania" or "Spider-Man" (animated series or specials). *Merchandising and Licensing Opportunities* - *Merchandise Expansion:* Sony’s consumer products division could expand the range of Chipmunks merchandise, including toys, apparel, and school supplies, tapping into new markets and demographics. - *Licensing Deals:* Sony could secure licensing deals to feature the Chipmunks in various consumer products, media, and promotional events, leveraging its global reach and industry connections. *Integration with Existing Properties* - *Cross-Promotional Opportunities:* The Chipmunks could be integrated into Sony’s existing properties for cross-promotional opportunities, potentially appearing in video games produced by Sony Interactive Entertainment or in promotional campaigns with other Sony movies and series. - *Animated Features and Shorts:* Sony Pictures Animation could produce high-quality animated features and shorts featuring the Chipmunks, showcasing them alongside other popular animated properties from Sony. *Strategic Benefits* - *Diversification:* Adding the Chipmunks to its portfolio would further diversify Sony’s family-friendly entertainment offerings, complementing its existing franchises. - *Global Reach:* Sony’s global distribution networks would help reintroduce the Chipmunks to new audiences worldwide, revitalizing interest in markets where the franchise has been less active. *Potential Challenges* - *Brand Fit:* Sony would need to ensure that the Chipmunks’ brand fits within its broader entertainment portfolio, aligning with its image and strategic goals. - *Fan Reception:* Managing fan expectations would be crucial, ensuring that new adaptations stay true to the essence of the Chipmunks that fans love while also innovating and expanding the franchise. *Long-Term Vision* - *Franchise Expansion:* Sony might invest in long-term franchise expansion, developing multiple facets of the Chipmunks brand, including movies, series, music albums, and live performances. - *Innovative Marketing:* Sony could utilize its marketing expertise to create innovative campaigns that resonate with both new and existing fans, possibly involving social media, interactive experiences, and virtual events. In summary, Sony Pictures Entertainment acquiring Alvin and the Chipmunks could lead to a revitalization and expansion of the franchise, leveraging Sony’s creative resources, global distribution, and marketing capabilities. The success of this acquisition would depend on strategic brand integration, creative innovation, and maintaining the essence of what makes the Chipmunks beloved by fans. In conclusion, Ross Jr and Janice must retire and pass on BP and the franchise to a larger studio and company (Sony would be the better option) so that AATC would remain in safe hands and live on for generations to come till the sun explodes.
I also want to say another reason I don't think Hasbro would ever acquire AATC and have a crossover with Transformers because Hasbro wants to avoid including anthropomorphic characters in the TF franchise ever since the controversial Beast Wars sequel series, *Beast Machines.* Had you seen the designs of the Maximals in Beast Machines? They were very uncanny and complete nightmare fuel! Blackarachnia's design was the worst and the most terrifying! But Optimus Primal's Beast Machines design (his techno-organic form) was the least ugly and least bad, and kinda my only favorite out of all the Maximals in Beast Machines. Primal's techno-organic form is one of my only two favorite Optimus Primal designs/forms along side his Transmetal Optimal form from Beast Wars Season 3.
Not trying to cause any drama, but to me, the 1980's designs will forever be the best designs for The Chipmunks and Chipettes. It's how I was introduced to them visually when the 1983 cartoon started rerunning on Cartoon Network around the late 90's and into the early 2000's
8:11 I'm so glad people are pointing out blatantly stupid this sin was. Sure, most of the sins were pure BS, but this one really ticked me off the most.
I wss never a bkg fan of unicron being the big bad, and what i love about this series is that megatron is front and center for most part as the big threeat. I personally always felt megatron was more dangerous
Fun fact it was originally supposed to be hot rod but they couldn't get the rights to his name in time, they were going to originally bring rodomus prime
Transformers one is a good title from a production and marketing stand point. It signals that it's a reboot and makes sure people that haven't been following the franchise on film have no fear of tuning in. I got to watch this film as wip back in June by accident. It was screening in annecy animation festival and it was the only screening I could get into. I came in very skeptical and came out a huge fan of the franchise. I dont' think there's higher praise than that.
I think TF Prime is peak but as a big Bumblebee fan seeing Bumblebee’s design with a mouth is always jarring to me since 99% of the show we see his mouth covered. That’s my one issue
also, the thing about the eyes. yea, they actually kinda do. for example - flies have compound eyes, which are basically several hundred eyes (each called an ommatidia) that make one eye
I said I would talk about The Wild Robot in another video I have planned. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be a Wild Robot review specifically. I could incorporate my thoughts on that film into my DreamWorks defense video.
My brother and I just watched Transformers One yesterday and it was definitely worth watching I just hope the movie makes a comeback in the uk and china
If alvin and the chipmunks 4 the road chip wrere to not be such a last finished movie the alvin and the chipmunks 4 would not be called road chip and would have be about something else and different and did make alvin and the chipmunks 5 they would have even made a alvin and the chipmunks 6 as well just like kung fu panda 6 witch didn't happen yet and nor the upcoming 5th one yet and alvin and the chipmunks would have even get a one more film than the ice age films and take ice age down and also too more films than shrek and take shrek all down as well since shrek 4 forever after use to be the last one just like alvin 4 is and alvin and the chipmunks 3 chipwrecked would be about the chipmunks at school again and alvin and the chipmunks 4 would be either about would tour or something and alvin and the chipmunks 5 would be called alvin and the chipmunks chipwrecked and finally alvin and the chipmunks 6 would be called alvin and the chipmunks the road chip and be the last film just like kung fu panda 6 will be if they made the 5th one that would have be a bad news for both ice age and shrek and few other films
17:41 the way Prime wheeljack manages to jerry rig explosives is an interesting way to characterize him as a Wrecker while also maintaining his intelligence, he just uses it in less mad scientisty ways
I love their cover songs and original. ❤ I think it would be a great idea if they did an album in acapella like Pentatonix. Or if they make more full versions of their 2015 songs, cause most of them are too short to me. Maybe even some covers from this era would sound pretty cool, being from 2010-2020 and in-between. It worked back then. And Broadway Musicals are fun, too. This is my opinion. ❤
Going slightly off topic here, I remember Ross Bagdasrian Jr mentioning in an interview that his father “inspired the Beatles into doing the music they did” Yet I can’t find a single mention from Paul, Ringo, John, or George ever talking about Ross or the Chipmunks. Also if Ross and Janice were really struggling to find somebody in the late 70s-early 80s to give them funding for their albums, why didn’t he look to one of the Beatles to promote them? Since they had huge influence in both the US and UK. Which brings me up to my opinion on your topic. I think most of the cover songs are bangers however I think the singers that they’ve covered don’t really like Ross and Janice since they never ever barely get a mention from them which makes me not really like their songs.
one thing i really hate and makes no sense in s1 megatron uses dark energon to bring back all the dead on cybertron with the space bridge explosion destroying them all.......how was unicron able to bring back the predacons?
All of those dead Cybertronian bodies were on the surface of the planet when Megatron unleashed the dark energon. The fossilized bones of the predacons were older and so were buried under the planet’s surface after the Great Cataclysm, like real fossils. Predaking explains that the fossils on the land he was ruling were unearthed during the shifting of plates caused by the restoration of Cybertron by the Autobots.
True. But then again, we don’t know how deep the dark energon wave could penetrate into cybertronian soil. Maybe those bodies were close enough to the surface, but the plates with the Predacon fossils were lower down. Like you wouldn’t expect a human zombie to emerge from cretaceous-period sediment layers.
I loved that show and fun fact, I give predaking when he is in his beast mode, fang as a non-canon name since Everytime I hear his name, I think when he is in robot mode, I also used to have a DVD of the episode that comes with transformers prime wheeljack but I lost that DVD,
I have to admit, I enjoy all the cover songs in all the AATC live action movies. I also have to admit that making cover songs can be good sometimes but I have mix feelings for too about the chipmunks and/or the chipettes singing the original songs that is not really their original. You get the picture.
The first season of the Ruby-Spears cartoon had a mix of originals and covers. And speaking of Ross Sr., he used session singers for The Chipmunks Sing the Beatles Hits and all the albums that followed. Those albums were filled to the brim with cover songs.
