Life is Newcastle upon Tyne's award-winning science centre with exhibitions, special events, Science Theatre shows and the biggest and best planetarium in the North of England. From November - February we're also home to Newcastle city centre's only open air ice rink, and all year round we run a varied programme of special events for all ages from pre-schoolers to adults.
The Life Science Centre is part of the Centre for Life science village - a cutting-edge place in the centre of Newcastle where scientists, clinicians, educationalists and business people come together to promote advancement of the life sciences.
Life is an educational charity; we do not receive public funding. We aim to get people of all ages switched on to science and to raise standards in science education. We also support the world-class scientific research which is being carried out on site. We couldn't do this without the support of our visitors, so THANK YOU.

We don’t actually know!!!! It’s surprising, I did all that research for weeks and months already, we do NOT actually know the identities of the majority of the bodies despite the fact that it’s been on the air for years already. Suspiciously, some of the bodies like the pregnant women’s clearly do not even look like consent was even that plausible at all as there is NOT even a monetary incentive to even donating a body like that or any body at all. In just one of the cases out of the many worser cases what you see is that a lot of stuff does NOT ADD UP, if the pregnant women was a unclaimed with her baby how come the report was that her family “donated” the body and the institution claims to hide the identity of its donors for “privacy”, furthermore such logic does even not correlate with her actually agreeing to even getting her body donated by her family or even planning her post Mortem advanced in first place as if she was really planning to die that early why she was even a couple trimesters pregnant in the first place, in what world did she even agree to get not just her but also her baby mummified as well. The final nail in the coffin was that the body was from China and who was directly involved was BO XILAI’s WIFE, she directly oversaw and was responsible for all the donated bodies to the museum, on numerous occasions she was giving bodies to the institute as young as in their twenties or thirties, the museum even admitted to finding bullets inside some of the bodies. The pregnant women with her baby preserved was just one of the many other bodies sent by corrupt CCP officials into the museum “for use”. Cause in the end, the museum admitted to using whatever bodies the Chinese gave them and whatever was left “unclaimed” but other countries as well, the museum never questioned the intent of anyone who gave them on what is already an extremely difficult supply of cadavers. My friends who are in fact biologists even told me that in science alone, a lot of stuff cause it’s done by people is mostly hastily done by staff, thus it plays more into the fact that the bodies were furthermore undeniably sourced extremely fishy.
