Great! Love things like that. And I love the brown water, we've that here also in the Eifel/Ardennes, the lttle mountain region between Belgium and Germany. But usally there's only water in winter, very rarely after heavy rainfalls the other time of the year.
Narrator of the film- " It was at this moment ,sadly the Kayaker realised ,as he approached it , - he had forgotten or failed to notice on the map, the 200 foot high waterfall he was now rapidly approaching !!!"
have my subscribe, have my like, you're a maniac for this trip, it was awesome, would love to see a full video commentary on this, cuz that was amazing, and looked insanely dangerous at the start. well done man, you a ledge.
No safety belts were used in the making of this most adventurous and brilliant film, one man and his Kayak heading down into Liffey weather below. If the great Phil Lynett was still around, he would have written and sand a song about this adventuring man and his beautiful sister Emma.
Could I ask, where is the official source of the Liffey, a rough location and/or Coordinates as I'm going to be creating a 4 part documentary on this river? Cheers
Fuck me. I want try that hobby . Stop smoke joints any more. First few second - small stream. Next few seconds is a real a PRIMAL. Sorry for my english
November is a great time to do it. All to do with water levels. There needs to be a lot of rain or the first section of river is bare rock and the bottom has no flow.
@@Tdunphy85 It's a good point about river levels for the upper stretches, but rainfall doesn't vary that much across the year on the east coast around Dublin. And there are many years when the rainfall in July is higher than November. Personally, I'd aim to do the route in July.
Hiked the River liffey before from its source up the Mts back out to the South wall in Dublin bay it turned out to be about 125 miles on foot with all the detours along the banks A lot more straight forward by kayak methinks
That looks like lots of fun - water all the way! We're doing a source-to-sea of the Brisbane River in Australia. First 100Km is by foot, the recent rain missed Queensland.
Wow the Brisbane looks like an amazing decent hope all goes well. That first 100km will be a good workout for sure but when you finally hit the city it will all be worth it. Watch out for Hector....
The first half was fascinating, then lots of gaps and lots of unrecognisable darkness. Perhaps starting off at midnight and entering city early evening would allow bright enough views if city centre.
Inspirational, and in the dark too, Ha ha ha, brilliant. Gona spank the Great Ouse this year for sure but not to the sea as it gets too boring once you reach the fens. Well done!
