The problem I have with this is that there is no way to make the machine “knot” the thread at the point where you go back. I have even gone back & forth one stitch at a time trying to sort of force a backstitch to knot, only to have the stitches unravel later. I was hoping the video would help me prevent that from happening.
This video was very helpful, thank you. I fixed mine with a belt that went loose upon shipping and now it works! I bought it @ a amazon auction house site for only 94.00 because the person who orig bought it just sent it back.
Would have liked to hear the noise you had so I would know if mine is the same. Also, at the end, the man in your video commented that Brother is zero help, however, you may appreciate knowing that they are the ones I got your link from ;)). Good video, guys!
I'm sorry, you're correct I should have (I thought I had) recorded the noise. Haha that's good to know they share my video. Hope you got your machine working.
@@TheCraftyKraut Hey, Tasha, Yes, I figured out the noise on mine. In my case, it’s a quiet noise at the end after I lift my foot off the peddle. Mine didn’t need the belt tightened, it was perfect. My husband oversaw my analysis and there is a tiny disk at the small gear in the back of the belt that spins freely and according to him, that is exactly what it is supposed to do, but when I tan the machine while open (I know, that’s a no, no). We could hear and see that the sound I have is just that little disk continuing to spin for a second after the gear has stopped. I am hypersensitive to sound, but now that I know what it is and that it can’t be helped, I’ll be ok with it. I appreciate you and people like you that show us his to get in to our machines and troubleshoot! I have made several “professional” adjustments on my multiple Brother 1034d machines (my own little self) through the years thanks to people like you!! Best, Donna
I serve hot plates to those on the streets. This will be great in keeping food warm during those cold months ahead. Thanks for posting. If you have any ideas about keeping liquids safe, please post.
I appreciate your video. I would really appreciate knowing the name of the material used to make the stencils. If you have a link of where you buy it from i would love for you to share it. Also, do you have aa video on how you create your adorable stencils? Thanks!!!!
Can you show where and how you placed the dry ice? We own a beach wedding business in hot and humid Florida. Often times the brides forget about the possibility of their cake melting in the outdoor pavilions they have their beach reception at. We are looking for an idea for storage to help keep their cakes in shape and prevent melting between the ceremony and the reception!
The way I kept zooming and trying to figure out how the stencil doesn’t look like a stencil before the lightbulb finally went off. It looks like the vinyl is on top. I’m thinking she did the transfer onto there after weeding. Hopefully she sees this and clarifies. I think I’m going to try this next week.
I fully get it this guy’s reaction. I’ve had cortisone shots in two trigger fingers & once in both of sides of my heel for a “bone spur.” Will NEVER do that again! Local anesthesia before trigger finger (I’ve had five trigger finger releases as of yesterday) hurts just as bad, like they’re going all the way into the bone. Feels like 15 on the pain scale! But that’s the worst part besides the healing part.
