@dancrozier5118 ah I've not seen any of that but I did leading up to release. Lots of people in the fan pages eating their words though! It's my favourite horror game of all time alongside alien isolation and to see it with these improvements is mind boggling
I do like the Commissar hyping up the troops. I'm sure the whole schpeel is a fairly standard rallying for Astartes, but my inner Helldiver really wanted to rally with the Guard.
Mostly time you hear woman voice when guardsman scream battle cry, but when somebody scary or crying it s always man voice. Freaky lgbt scums. But they still not satisfied, they need transgender-spacemarine. Crazy human-gurbige.
I have the same settings, also GFN Ultimate, but got only about 60 fps on 1080p. The internet and connection is fine. Cyberpunk runs with 90 fps. But I don’t know why Alan Wake 2 isn’t giving me 120+ fps on 1080p…
@@alexashman5183 I checked it twice. But maybe I have to turn the motion blur off. But I doubt, that it gives me 60 fps more. But thank you for your help :)
Depends. Trigger happy or overly eager commissars got fragged all the time by rank and file guardsmen and officers alike. If there's no witness, it is unlikely the commissar's death will be investigated since anyone with authority to do so would have more important things to do. Any commissar worth his salt wouldn't need to worry about getting shot by guardsmen, honestly. Either the men would follow him into the battle without hesitation, or he's savvy enough to make sure he's feared, not hated.
@@korawitbuttramee618 I recall there's a bit from one of the Colonel Straken books in which there's a Commissar who writes a letter for the Commissar who may replace him, the jist of which is that he has reason to believe that the Colonel is plotting his death, and that, if his replacement is reading the letter, he should assume that he has been murdered. I expect that kind of thing is not uncommon: the Commissariat looks after its own, and a man who's killed one Commissar is liable to have a go at another.
If you were actually fighting A swarm enemy executing potentially useful cannon fodder is counter productive. "Penal Units" to run "Recon by Fire" operations would be more useful.
*Potential spoilers below* I think at this point in the story, it's been revealed that there are chaos forces at work on the planet. If that's the case, then I could understand them not wanting to take the risk. But I do agree that a penal unit would be more efficient.
@@bobbywesker6114 Probably denying the Nids some biomass. A handful of deserters ain't gonna make any difference, but hey, The Commissar gotta do what he gotta do.
Nope, in universe the more fodder you give the nids the stronger they get In reality allowing deserters to roam around the battlefield is a horrid idea, they've caused trouble once and they'll definitely do it again knowing they have a death sentence either way
I've yet to play this, but its nice to see a Baneblade in shot and other vehicles, its also nice to know how they've added the lore of Cadia being destroyed into the game too nice detail!. I collect the cadians in RL for table-top and all my operatives on darktide are from cadia too, Cadia Stands!
Well Cadia has created thousands of IG regiments, it makes sense they are still around and also the Cadia system has multiple habitable planets from which new recruits can still be sourced, even with the fall of Cadia itself.
Tricky one. There's no sane reason for a lasgun to have recoil, but some argue that they might have been designed to incorporate recoil because "that's what guns do," and the Imperium is nothing if not an adherer to the idea of doing stuff because that's how stuff is.
It depends on who is animating it. In shows like Pariah Nexus, there is no recoil. Perhaps to save on animation budget. Yet for Darktide there is… There are so many canon and homebrew versions of las guns. Overrall tho, this is a very low or recoiless weapon. The ammo is practically infinite as long as you have any source of energy.
They could do with some continuation animations to at least loop this stuff. Have the guard march out after the speech or at least prep for mobilisation. Same with the firing squad, have the bodies thrown into the furnace and a new lot dragged in or stand at ease over the bodies for a bit. Something to make it feel less of a set scene for your benefit and more just the ongoing activities of the vast machine that is the Adeptus Millitarium
@@Keram-io8hvPlenty of other games do this. It doesn't have to be hyper complex, but having them freeze in silence after they are done with the scene is immersion breaking.
Man after a hard day of work I just wanna chill and enjoy this world. On veteran I was getting spanked every few mins and I just don't have the time anymore. I've done my time on the hardest difficulty on the PC version with the ABR mod, now it's time to lay back with a controller and chill 😎
Hi!!! Omam you still have that magic nanna & reggie voice & the rest of you other guys its always a pleasure to see & listen to your performance so cool thank you ❤❤❤
It is so unreal to see this game run so smoothly. Personally, I've been doing every bossfight and any bigger fight sequence on 15-20 FPS while on lowest graphics settings. Gotta love it. Can't really complain though when I only have a GTX 1660 Ti. If there will be a sequel to this game, I will have to update my entire setup just to run it at all.
It really is, this was on PS5 and the majority of the game has been full of FPS issues and bugs, so when I had this short sequence that felt so smooth I just thought 'wow, that felt amazing - why couldn't the whole game play like this?!'. Recent updates have helped but it's a tragedy the state it released in. Took me 9 months to finish as I wanted to wait for it to play as smoothly as possible.
