I know this was so special between mama and her child. So happy she got to be reunited with her daughter. That child was so ready to see her mommy. Don't worry what other say. Some love to put others down. God bless your family.❤ Deme in Bama
Chelsea, I am in the UK. I have pelvic damage, which is why I am in a wheelchair. Where can I go to get manual wheelchair training? I have had no rehab.
I got my new Tilite ZRA and its SUPER TIPPY to the point where I'm keeping my AT bars on. And to transfer my wc into my car with the AT bars on is SUPER DIFFICULT. But thats where Im at.
Chelsie I have followed you for a while and you are an inspiration to me. I’m a wheelchair user with spina bifida and your videos give me the push I need every day to keep fighting for my goals. Seeing you with your beautiful daughter gives me the hope that I can possibly have a family one day and thrive through it. I love the rollettes which also gives me the motivation to continue pursuing the career of my dreams. Thank you for being you and for sharing your experiences. I’m sure it helps a lot of people in our community as it helps me ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can I ask you Chelsie if you were paid by Dubai tourism for this video. I am over here with my husband and it’s nothing like your video. We’ve been here 3 days and I’ve cried everyday because it’s so hard. My husbands wheelchair has already broken and we’ve had to get hotel maintenance guy to fix it due to lack of dropped kerbs and uneven pavements. I’ve had to wheel my husband in the road. We’ve nearly been knocked over twice where I haven’t managed to get him up quick enough. We’ve got stuck in elevator doors where they close to quickly. We had to wait for 4 metros because they were too full, when we managed to finally get on one, it was horrendous, we were sandwiched in like sardines. People have been particularly rude pushing in front, in many situations including in the mall. Your video is not a true representation of what we are experiencing here as a tourist in Dubai. We have 8 days to go and I just want to stay in the hotel as it’s too hard out there. I have contacted several people, including independent travel companies, who have all confirmed that Dubai is not an accessible city.
I’m much more comfortable with the phrase wheelchair user than mthe phrase being in a wheelchair or being wheelchair bound or confined to a wheelchair . I use a wheelchair. I also use a knife and fork. I also use social media and I have to say the OP does it much better than I do.
I appreciate the time taken to share this video!! I was supposed to go to the Rollettes back a couple years ago and life got hectic lol it’s so great to have a disabled community and props to you for making all this happen to help others ❤ life doesn’t have to stop although your injured!!! I am a recovering alcoholic/addict. Mama of 2 beautiful girls!! I am thriving and keeping on!! Some days are hard but I make it through! It helps to have a big support system and those that can relate to you. I hve such a variety of friends from those also in recovery and those that are also in a wheelchair! ❤
I missed the abilities expo coming to my local town. I’ve met you a few times if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have gotten a smart drive for my Wheelchair and my Wheelchair is eight years old now crazy
Thx sooooo much for sharing this experience with those of us who could not make it there in person!!! Being a new chair user I really enjoyed getting to see that there is such a community out there!! Thx again for all you do! 🙂♿️❤️
Hi Chelsie I love you so much and I love everything you do I’m here for the giveaway I loved your class so much and got distracted, but really excited when I saw that Kaylee came in. I told her that I was so distracted and so happy that she came in that I was so happy that I couldn’t even dance anymore
