I agree, the only mitigation in this case is the fact most people were already up and collecting their cases 🤔 Our 321’s have 5 cabin crew with one in the centre to control things in this rare case
It's also called the E&E bay on the bus. It looks to me as if its the plug that's arcing and the spark is causing the heat...It probably stopped once the cable burnt through. If it was inside the aircraft the smoke would vent through the E&E bay cooling vent 🤔
I was disappointed by their response to the fire..just turning off the ground power might have just stopped everything… From the flightdeck you can’t see much below the nose of the aircraft but you’d certainly smell and see that smoke
Statistically 10% of passengers are hurt in an evacuation. I'm guessing because most people were already up and getting off the aircraft and the apparent lack of rush from the centre of the aircraft helped keep everyone safe.
@@captains_log23 people would blame boeing for the problem even if it wasn’t there fault, like the 777 landing gear and 737 engine failure the last couple months
I think the problem was, the passengers would already be up and getting their luggage when the order to evacuate came...In the centre of the cabin there wouldn't be any crew so it was down to the passengers..🤔
I wanted to buy one to replace my M3LR. But I was really disappointed in 460hp(510 in the US), and poor range due to LG 79kwh pack. Zero innovation in the battery-its the same pack I have in my car from early 2000. Why not have the CATL with 30% better energy density and 10min 10-80% charge time? They are coming to the market now and will make the LG pack look very old.
It does seem they have left some room for improvement. I think there has to be a "Ludicrous" version soon with the better battery performance incorporated with the improved density and charging ability. I'm holding off at the moment. These specs would be ok on a facelifted Y 🤔 Let's see what happens.
Cars and Batteries like AI go through fast changes atm. Teslas Hardware V5 will already be around the corner and Tesla is working with CATL on the next Batteries. Pretty sure they will come in 2025. If you buy the M3P now you can expect another big money loss like with EVs in general. Cars are often even cheaper in leasing then buying usually this shouldnt happen. So i dont know. If you dont have a car now you cant really do much wrong or right. If you already own a good car i would keep it and wait for the next gen tech.
@@DrumL3000 I agree but the problem with any tech product is the rate of improvement is usually exponential...There comes a time when you just have to take the plunge and buy...Most tech is a depreciating asset and in the case of a car it's a big investment. I'm going to wait a little longer, maybe for the refreshed model Y or even the rumoured model 3 hatchback 🤔 But whatever we buy over the next few years will look like junk in another decade...It's just how things work..
One really has to compare the price of this car to the BMW M3 and Porsche Taycan "Turbo" as it offers (more than) comparable performance to these competitors. Based on this comparison the Tesla is "worth" closer to $100k than $50k. I have trouble seeing how BMW and Porsche are going to sell their wares given the existence of this car.
It is making a compelling case against the Taycan 🤔 I've spent a lot of time on the Porsche configurator...😲 The new taycan is so much better than the previous version but that price is in a different league and the law of diminishing returns certainly kicks in. I'll have to test drive the Tesla M3P and see how it works on the mountain passes near me before my final judgement 😎 But I don't see prices increasing and I doubt they will pass the $55,000 mark and lose the federal tax credit...
Maybe compare it to the i4 M50 which you can have (with dealer discount) at roughly the same price of a M3P and the i4 M50 has better performance, is better built and doesn't share its userbase with 60 year old women. Yes those are the ones driving Model 3's
Surprisingly not as bad as previous rockets, Ethalox/kerolox pollutes more than Hydrolox (used by shuttle and SLS, and only releases H2O), and certain Hypergolic fuels are way worse for the environment than all three of those.
It's difficult to compare them..The Tesla is a great car to drive and you soon get used to everything being on the central screen and everything working...! I'v recently tested the new model without "stalks' and there will be a video out soon... The App is amazing, so functional and intuitive and over the air updates seamless.. But then I get back in the MG. Iit feels just as planted on the road, a little slower comparing both single motor cars but it's so let down by the software...My app still won't connect to the car and I'd have to leave it with a dealer to even investigate. The charging experience is chalk and cheese. yes the MG is slightly cheaper to buy but it's less efficient so more expensive to run. I'm going to be doing a lot more driving in the MG this year as well as some other EV's trying to get an ownership viewpoint..🤓 Have you driven both...?
@@captains_log23 you are confirming my other research I have done into the model 3 then. I must be lucky having a later mg4 in that I really don't have any issues with the software or app, I even use auto steer on disk carriageways all the time and it's pretty good. I've not driven a model 3 but I was very tempted to get one. I was either going for brand new mg4 trophy or a 1 year old model 3. I much preferred the looks of the mg4 and the novelty of buying my first brand new car. Also loved the 360 camera and manoeuvrability, the turning circle is great. I wasn't sure if I could live with the looks of the model 3 although it has grown on me now, especially the new highland. The efficiency and ease of charging were the major things that were attracting me to the model 3. In in it for the long haul with my mg4 now and I love it, although will most definitely consider the model 3 next time.
@@Rufus2005f1 The 360 camera is a definite bonus. The M3 needs a bumper camera really 🤓 I use Mg pilot and TJA but they aren't in the same league as Tesla....You should check out my latest FSD video 😎 Keep enjoying the MG4 it's a great car...

Good video, but can we put as much effort into getting the rocket to actually work? Three failed flights in a row and there's still no actual fixed design yet. Or one that works. Get it together folks, so far there's been nothing to cheer about.

@@ran631 All three flights have failed in the actual goal which is to orbit (or near orbit) and recover the supposedly "reusable" stages. I can grant a "hard splashdown" with all aspects of the 'recovery' (including engine burns) but SpaceX has even failed that. SLS flew fine the first flight, so did Vulcan/Centaur and those are expendable vehicles. SpaceX is continuing to waste taxpayer money without having ANYTHING to show other than tossing empty shells around for the amusement of Musk and his fans. There is no evidence of advancement on their supposed HLS commitment, in fact they have prioritized their Starlink V2.0 over the HLS and the money they are using is money NASA gave them FOR HLS. (And that whole "award" smells to high heaven) SpaceX has designed, built and iterated to a reusable booster with Falcon 9/Falcon Heavy but Elon is obsessed with his "requirement" for 100+metric tons on Mars (or having the worlds biggest rocket, take your pick at this point) has resulted in a development "program" that does not use any of the knowledge and capability that SpaceX developed for such programs. It's a useless rocket to begin with and only serves Musk's needs not anyone else's.
@@captains_log23 As is your right :) The main issue is that while you might disagree, there's the little fact that I'm not totally wrong. We've seen a successful and well planned development program from SpaceX in the Falcon 9. We're literally not seeing anything close to that with the Starship/Superheavy "program". Any other "private" company, (in quotes because the money they are burning here is literally public funds) that had three straight failures to achieve the main "goal" would have the whole "program" put on hold and the reasons WHY they keep failing fixed. Instead Musk calls it a 'success' and everyone looks the other way.
The app does work, but it's a pain to connect and not over intuitive. I am wondering if you have completed the connection process the way it is supposed to be done - I wouldn't blame you if you haven't as it took me a good while to get things going! I'm not too concerned as by the looks of things, I shall be controlling charge processes through my energy provider's app. Haven't tried it yet - car's only been on the drive two days!
thanks for your comments and welcome to the club....I have tried everything and just resigned to the fact it's not going to work..! The dealer would have it in but if you've seen my video about my delivery nightmare then you'll see why im not rushing back. Ev's are a steep learning curve but at least buying this time of year you'll see the car at it's worst range wise (if you're in the northern hemisphere 🤔) I will get it serviced soon...But I have to decide if I'm keeping the car long term (I already have 7 other ICE cars 😁) or swap for my next EV 😎 I'll be making a 12 month update soon...
Very nice review. The AI box looks really good, I currently have a cheap one that I got to see if it works ok, it does but it's extremely laggy and slow. Your AI box looks a much better product.
Thanks for your kind words.. It has occasionally disconnected and re connected itself but it's been 99% perfect.. I did record some other content from Disney+ etc but was worried by content restrictions 🤓 And zero lag with navigation...!

Hi there, mine is a bit earlier..🤔 I was in Austin recently and their opinion is we will have to wait in Europe for quite a while yet as there are no plans to make it legal here...I've seen the truck in person and it will be worth the wait 😊 I'm going back to Texas soon and will try and get a drive 😎
prices are ridiculous. I’m in Mallorca and got a Alfa Romeo Stelvio for less than £100 for 7 days. Could have had a fiat 500 (non electric) for £14 for the entire week!
The principles Max Faget pioneered still live on, even in the latest modern iterations. Sometimes you have to look back for the inspiration to move forward. Just goes to show how good Apollo was that Artemis is using many of its principles to accomplish its mission.
I had to research Maxime as I was unaware of his work 🧐 But it's true the past has many lessons for us although I wish NASA could accelerate this process..I feel the whole concept will be outdated before its finished..
