I ended up with an older version when i bought a boat. As a rod fisherman you always try to minimize non catching gear so it took a while to grasp the idea of a minimum 4lb weight. Ive been using it for trawling with some 15 hooks . Unfortunately the machine only takes up to 40 kg..Is there anyway to verify the machine is pulling this. Every trip ive ended up pulling it in by hand. I would like to try it for halibut or just bait fishing without the jigging. Cheers from Norway.

To verify if your machine is functioning within this capacity, I'd recommend getting in touch with our technical team. As for trying out halibut or bait fishing without the jigging, that's a fantastic idea! In fact, we have examples of fishermen successfully reeling in massive halibut, grouper, and other large fish using our equipment. Hey Agnar and crew 👋 From Oregon USA . We bought 2 of these from you folks earlier this year. We are in the process of getting them rigged up on the ol' baden for nearshore groundfish and possibly Sablefish. Maybe even deep dropping for Swords? or whatever might be down there at night, during the offshore Albacore season. These videos are awesome, very informative. 👍 keep them coming if you all have time. We are looking forward to fishing with these machines. They look like just the ticket in the right application! And tough as nails.
