When I went to see Slayer on their farewell tour I thought that was it. Slayer was from a time when I didn't have type 1 diabetes. I'll probably never see them live again even though they will play the occasional show. 😢
Bom na minha opinião, eu acho que será remaker dos álbuns "a real live one" e "a real dead one". Creio que há muito marketing envolvido e uma chamativa aos fãs, não acredito em um mudança espetacular a respeito do setlist
I'm at louder then life...and totally depressed...the only reason I bought tkts was to see my favorite band....😢 Fkn Slayer!!! 🤘😠🤘 traveled quite a ways..but have met many people who teaveled way further ....sad day !💔
Love Slayer but there not the same without Jeff and Dave you can hear a big difference listening to too live Slayer with Jeff and Dave compared to the current line up I went to both US Big 4 shows in the US in 2011 I can hear the difference so it is Slayer and its not Slayer lol
I just saw U.D.O. a couple weeks ago. I'll see KK's Priest/Accept tomorrow, I'll see Judas Priest/Sabaton in three weeks. That means I will have seen: Accept and former members of Accept (U.D.O.) Judas Priest and former members of Judas Priest (KK's Priest)
Slayer reuniting in 2024 after 5 years made almost everyone pop! Tom Araya almost made the scream at the beginning of Angel Of Death and sounded great!
the problem with guns roses is taking too long which leads to over antecipation and disapointment. Chinese democracy was good I think, it was the delay of many YEARS that led to too much expectations and disapointment
I’m so tired of The Raven Age. If Steve Harris’ son wasn’t in the band nobody would talk about them. Arry is just carrying them. Maiden needs to get back to having good openers.
Come on dude why give time to non-metal bands. manson, kotzen, linkin park. I have a diverse range of music taste but I come here for METAL! and there are so many Metal bands to talk about and give a shout out too. \m/
Not the same without Jeff and Dave will never be in Slayer ever again KK and Tom will never let it happen maybe someday when they all have canes walking up on stage lol 😆
Axls voice is fucked up these days, at least for the old songs. I think songs like Brownstone still sound really good live. So i hope the new songs (if they happen) are specially made for Axls modern voice. Kinda like how Emily singing Linkin Park songs sounds strange at times, but the two new songs that are made with her voice in mind sound awesome!
I was supposed to see them at LTL man! Super bummed out, don’t know if you saw or not but the festival sent out a message saying any single pass people for Friday can come in Saturday or Sunday. I picked Sunday as for me Sat. is the worst lineup of all 4 days. Super pumped for Korn, first time seeing them! And 4th time seeing the mighty Priest. Hoping they may extend the curfew to let Slayer play, or even Slayer announce a show at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville instead!! Best outcome from the worst case, can’t really complain man! Keep it up, love the videos, 14 and been rocking out since I was 7!
I have never seen a retired band stay retired. Kiss came out of retirement 20 times now. Ozzy came out of retirement practically right after announcing his retirement. So I knew that Slayer wouldn't stay retired either. I'm also expecting Rush will come out of retirement as well.
Slayer retired from touring....never said the would be done completly... and Rush will never unretire... without Neil there will never be a Rush reunion..
I get so mad when people are both-siding with the war. My support is 100% behind Ukraine. You did nothing to deserve this, Russia should get the hell out of your country.
My wish list/ guessing exercise for the setlist: Prowler Wrathchild Killers 22 Acacia Avenue The Trooper Afraid to Shoot Strangers 2 Minutes to Midnight Powerslave Tailgunner The Loneliness of a Long Distance Runner Infinite Dreams Phantom of the Opera The Number of the Beast Fear of the Dark Wasted Years ENCORE: Murders in the Rue Morgue Hallowed Be Thy Name Run to the Hills Iron Maiden Running Free
If I were the one to decide for the 2 h setlist 😅: 1. **Aces High** - _Powerslave_ (4:31) 2. **2 Minutes to Midnight** - _Powerslave_ (6:00) 3. **Phantom of the Opera** - _Iron Maiden_ (7:05) 4. **Wrathchild** - _Killers_ (2:55) 5. **Rime of the Ancient Mariner** - _Powerslave_ (13:34) 6. **Alexander the Great** - _Somewhere in Time_ (8:35) 7. **Run to the Hills** - _The Number of the Beast_ (3:54) 8. **Déjà Vu** - _Somewhere in Time_ (4:56) 9. **The Trooper** - _Piece of Mind_ (4:12) 10. **Hallowed Be Thy Name** - _The Number of the Beast_ (7:12) 11. **The Number of the Beast** - _The Number of the Beast_ (4:50) 12. **Iron Maiden** - _Iron Maiden_ (3:35)
Some think the “Les Binks years, two and a half to be clear, were Priests best… hard to argue with “stained class Killing machine and unleashed in the east. It’s too bad the manager at the time suggested Les play for Free on unleashed leading apparently to Les departing . Are drummers really that interchangeable ?
Sorry this is terrible. Way to ruin a classic dark 70s album and make it sound like a bad 80s album. Way too much compression, reverb, pitch correction, replacement, augmentation, editing, everything is way too much not what it was. Sucks the soul and magic right out of it. Sterile and 80s dated sounding now, which does not match the 70s music. JP and this album are my fave. Orig early 70s mix best. 70's music should stay sounding 70s, that is the point. Way too bright crisp cold thin, adding things not there before, etc. Can't believe they ruined it this bad. Messing this much with a 70s album is sacrilege and clueless backwards thinking, as if they feel need to pander to younger people and compete with overproduced "modern" metal production, which is also generic and sterile, but at least of it's era. This is like a bad out of time dream, sounding like a 70s band that never made an album til the 80s but still played 70s music so dated by the 80s so failed at both being good 80s music, and failed at playing 70s music with a cool 70s sound, neither are cool. Real JP fans are making fun of this already saying its done by AI lol. Does anyone want the first sabbath or Zep albums to sound like a bad stereotypical 80s or modern metal production? That is what this is. Total garbage. I love JP and this album but this is hilariously sad. Most all priest fans want them to always stay sounding late 70s early 80s in music and production style and that is it, they never beat that era, only ruined their rep 1985 to present with commercial pandering fails at every move.
