The most ghetto aircraft ever invented. People make fun of British WW2 tanks but the H-6N takes the cake for craziest modified system. It's a 1960's airframe with bigger wings, electronic warfare, an air-to-air refueling probe jammed in the front and launches a bunch of stuff. But who knows? Maybe it is a very capable plane, the US still uses B-52 bombers after all.
This aircraft represents a significant step forward for the PLAAF (Chinese Air Force). However, it's so antiquated as to be irrelevant in the current strategic environment, my goodness, did I see that it has a top gun turret--a feature not seen on US bombers since WWII (almost 80 years ago). The aircraft is easily detectable, and once identified as hostile, will be immediately dispatched. I lament for the aircrews of this aircraft if sent out to attack US assets as it is without doubt a suicide mission as they have zero chance of success or survival. Better than a Russian bomber--debatable. Better than [any] US bomber still in service--comical.
