The Syulen is a cool little ship, your problems are mostly with SC. I'm waiting for my Railen. It has way more possibilities to make cash with cargo and other missions. The only issue people will have with these ships is take offs & especially landings. A little learning curve which can be helped with alternate preset camera angles. One thing to note about the Syulen for beginners is that it's very fuel efficient meaning you can fly long distances without refueling constantly. 😀
I just melted my Misc Reliant Kore and paid 5$ on the difference along with the paint I had for it and got this ship and a custom paint. I haven't flown it yet but it's going to be a nice replacement. Loved my reliant but I had it for years and am ready for something new. And I like ships with beds cause I almost always bed log🤙 o7
You can't place any of your own boxes if thats what you're asking on that grid, should be able to in the future iirc. As for Cargo, that should work fine unless you've ran into the dupe bug which should be fixed in the next patch.
Never liked the CIG alien ships, but when CIG announced the Syulen, i just wanted to have it, all though it is not of great use, I find it great for exploring, and doing lite bounties! Once you get used to its flying mechanics, you will just love flying it! ThanX for the vid series! Cheers!
Why incidentally do you not click 'A Call to Arms' As this gives you money all the time for any kills you have during gameplay? It's really handy. Love the AI idea but she seems painfully slow at times, would be so cool if she reacted faster especially say in battle if you could redirect shields on the fly etc. PS When she says your name, I assume its your name and it sounds very Welsh as in UK Welsh (It's a classic Welsh name) is this the case, this is slightly odd as you sound American?
The AI voice just generates names and stuff on what it 'thinks' is best unless you tell it otherwise. When it comes to 'Davith' -Da- like the start of (Dad) and 'Vith' (With, with a V) she says it correctly. If I use a UK or Aussie pack with her it comes out almost Devith. As for speed the AI honestly completes commands in about half a second to 1.5 overall depending on latency with chatgpt at the time. What takes more time right now since i'm messing with Audio is the callback, as I have to keep a function off that speeds that up. Its a bug that Pedalboard/Spotify has to fix. And lastly the Call To Arms contract only works if you encounter something at random, it does not give you anything if what you're fighting is part of another contract and since I'm hardly ever in a random fight in this series I dont bother with it as I'd probably forget to click it on more than anything on every play session. Not a bad shout though.

No, well, yes and no. the AI has multiple voices to choose from but none really copy an actor or anything like that. However, if you look up ElevenAI they have a thing where you could record a minute of audio of any voice it and it will clone it. However, that API is super expensive and has some incredible limits in character count
Very, very f'n carefully. I've only had once instance in the last couple weeks where I exploded on exit. Past that it generally kinda works. Things got real bad over Drake convention tho for some reason so hopefully it sorts itself by tomorrow. Once freeflight is over many things should go back to arguable normal too
name for the pinguin: Aponicus. its composed from the scientific designation of the king penguin and with the "us" at the end it could be a latin male name.
@@hake5005 hey ya thats close its just how it would sound if it was pronounced. For example Pronounce (Pro) like the start of Professional (or Pro) and nounce is 'ounce' with an N at the start 'nounce' is kind of what i mean sorry if that breakdown doesn't make any sense. :) In simpler terms its basically the 'sound' the letters break when broken down.
Small piece of information on that ship you are using. It's best to keep that ship in vertical position when leaving the hangar as oppose to the you launch it. Use 3rd view to do it that way.
@@Thaendril I understand what you are saying. But that was always meant to launch out of hangar of that type horizontally because the door is only so height. Plus, it a lot cool to do it that way. you could see that she had turned the engines on via the two vertical blue bars on the right hand side of the pilot UI, they are labled HYD for hydrogen fuel and QUA for quantum fuel. they are red when the engines are off and blue when engines are on. this UI you are using, is it something you are developing yourself as a third party program? as she seems wicked to have!!
I'm aware of how to spot engines being on or off trust me :) but thank you. As for Iris she technically works within a third party app called wingmanai that I contribute to. The personal assistant side of her is a custom feature I'm tinkering with for that app.

@@jjetstreamgamer The current version of wingmanAI is public yeah. What I'm working will eventually be set as a 'skill' (think alexa skills) and will be public yes. I'm currently doing audio rework for it. lol, I have one.. Iris is going to keep evolving I'm putting a lot of time and effort into her. I'm a little ahead in the series so I think its day 6 where she has an incredibly wholesome moment.
I wonder how people would take if I added these to Patreon or something. Spotify is great but I have to push myself through a distributor to do that, and while that is not exactly a terrible idea it is a bit of a financial hit for something that isn't generating any income at the moment anyway. Up side is if I did it this way and set it as a thing for Patreon's to download, you could add it to your preferred service as you'd own the copy. Kinda trying to cut out the middle man lol.

Yeah they've done a lot with portals on some doors being able to let light through, could of course be better but its a good step in the right direction of whats hopefully fully possible.
