WGI Sport of the Arts is the world’s premier organization producing indoor color guard, percussion, and winds competitions. As a non-profit youth organization, WGI also serves as the governing body for the indoor color guard, percussion, and winds activities. It is called the Sport of the Arts because it brings music to life through performance in a competitive format. Now entering its 44th year in 2021, the sport continues to evolve and grow.
Stanley wrote the body work for our ‘94 & ‘95 WGI show, he said I had good feet. I’m thankful to have met him and worked with him. Thank you for sharing this ❤

This question isn't especially germane to the discussion, but why aren't difficulty and risk POCs on the Scholastic World sheets? I understand them not being on A and Open, because then everyone would be gunning for the same world class skills, and the different classes would therefore become meaningless. But why not in SW? Fear of injury? I feel like with the explosion of Instagram, the kids are doing the high risk skills regardless of them not being fully credited for them.
I suppose I bring this up because sometimes it seems as though we value the Michelle Kwans of the guard world a little too much over the Ilia Malinins. LOL.
