You are not the only one who thinks that Kreese had something to do with Tory’s mom’s death. That theory has been going around since the first five episodes of the season came out.
Also Anthony and Kenny were starting to come around to each other, but now Kenny thinks Anthony put the laxatives in his drink so now that’s ruined as well.
Tory siding with Cobra Kai made a great plot twist! Part 1 was amazing. Tory’s mom’s death was crucial for the plot. Kreese’s ark is crazy good. Although Hawk being a replacement was definitely not the best choice. Although they probably have a good reason for it. Kyler got a redemption ark. But part 2 will be a W FOR SURE! 🎉
after daniel stopped tory fist he should have pulled her to the side to check on her/comfort her and then ask if she wants to continue her fight, and let her know to relax a little. just telling her she cant fight was brazy
Yes, thank you she was a bit reckless. The kids, Amanda and Daniel, were even seeing it by watching how Tory was fighting. She wasn't in the right head space to fight in that moment. She could have hurt Sam or even herself. She was legit holding everything in with grief and anger and wouldn't talk to anyone, including Robby, when he had been trying to reach her since the day before. Daniel and Amanda were more worried about Tory with her mental health and well-being as they should. Yes, Johnny knows what it's like to lose his mom, but don't forget Daniel also knows about loss as well he lost his dad at a young age and then lost Mr. Miyagi later in life, who was another father figure to him. He's just as much of a hot head as Johnny and Tory is. I mean, fighting a punching bag/dummy is one thing to let it all out, but to do a 1 on 1 fight match with another student, no, it wasn't the right time to do that. All it takes is 1 reckless move, and it can injure someone badly. Any of your top good athlete coaches in any kind of sport won't let their students practice/compete while they are in a fresh grieving state with anger especially in sports like martial arts/boxing/wrestling/gymnastics/certain dance styles/skating/nascar driving the sports that really focuses on having a clear balance focus. Look what happened when Robby was filled with rage when he fought Miguel in season two at the school. All it took was just the 1 kick that sent Miguel into the hospital with a coma and had to relearn on how to walk. At first, Robby was in control during that fight until that rage fully took over and didn't realize what he had just done until right after he did it. He wanted to finish the fight, but he didn't think it would end in that way.
Johnny knew exactly how Tory was feeling! He was right about Mr Miyagi too… Finally someone said what I was thinking! I hope that what Daniel is going to find about Mr Miyagi’s past will help him accept Johnny’s karate because they need it! A chance Johnny is teaching the kids Miyagi Fang karrate because they will need it to win the Sekai Taikai! Like he said he’s doing it for the kids!
They both knew what Tory was feeling because they both lost a parent. I think Dainel was in a right to stop the fight. Tory wasn't in the right head space and if she ended up hurting Sam, she would've felt worse. If she needed to fight, she could've grabbed a punching bag or asked Robby to spar. I agree that Dainel should be more lenient to Johnny's teachings but its obvious he is slipping back into his old ways bc he is desperate to keep the image of Miyagi he knew after finding out what he knows so far.
@@allianakelley4042 I think they should have helped Tory more at the moment! She needed to 👊🏻 something, didn't need to be Sam but something! And Johnny's past is the closest to Tory's, he lost his mom was alone after that, Daniel had his mom and Mr Miyagi came after that... he wasn't alone, it's not the same! I can't wait to see Daniel learn about Mr Miyagi's past! I think this is going to shock him but help him at the same time!
Tory and Robby have both shown leader roles in this show. Miguel and Sam have not. It’s not a bout best fighter for team leader it’s who’s the best leader. You know I always wanted Robby and Sam to win the all valley since they never did amd Miguel and Tory to win the worlds
Unfortunately they did need a lot of these personal conflicts. It’s that kind of show. It’s what the show thrived on. None of it’s gonna last. All the sensei want to leave a legacy and Daniel in particular wants it to be a Miyagi legacy. Johnny is kind of like Anthony was awhile back. He doesn’t know the guy at all. Kreese didn’t kill Torys mom. They clearly said she had a blocked artery in her lungs. The fist was just her trying to fight to survive and for Tory to be triggered in her fight with Sam. It’s a matter of convenient timing and misunderstanding or lack of communication all things the show has thrived on since season 1. Kreese has looked after Tory previously. He’s not the kind of guy to kill her sick mom just to get her on his side. It’s not that kind of show. And not anything we’ve seen from Kreese. Tory’s mom wasn’t his enemy. He had a sick mom who died also. He showed up to plant the seed of Larusso’s favoring Sam. That’s all. And it worked. He wanted Tory back the Same way he wanted Robby and the same way he had kept asking Johnny to comeback.
One of my biggest problems with Cobra Kai is what they’ve done with Miguel. In the first two seasons he was clearly the main kid character. I feel like he’s been sidelined ever since. Losing the fight to Robby probably means he’ll have a lesser role again.
Robby and Johnny should’ve gone to do that. Robby because she was the only one she cared about and would definitely listen to. And Johnny because he lost his mom and had to get through the grief of it, so he can help her do the same. But instead, neither moved and were happy just forgetting about her as they gave and were given the Captain bands.
I'm sorry but Johnny sounded so dumb talking bout well she wants to fight so let her fight. No dummy cause clearly she was just gonna use Sam as her punching bag because she was upset. If she wants to hit something give her an actual punching bag. Then to say what he said about Miyagi I didn't feel bad that he got punched in the face cause clearly you was asking for it.
I disagree tbh that’s how a fight works man? You try to hit each other it’s up to the other person to not get hit. And if it went too far the Sensei’s would’ve stopped it. Plus it would teach her to let out her anger and control it. All in all everyone has different ways of dealing with grief and stress and people do genuinely get it out by fighting in the real world. Tory literally got a point deducted for the extra one hit she wouldn’t have ever got away with beating the shit out of Sam. Tory wanted to do it for her mom they definitely would’ve just given the captain spot to Sam tbh anyway
@@sean3246 Yes fighting involves hitting each other however, we already saw from jump Tory was not following the rules like when she obviously hit Sam after already getting a point but even when Johnny just says ready and Tory just goes off trying to hit Sam before Johnny even finishes. Clearly she was overly emotional and angry which makes sense. No one is saying they won't fight they simply said the day after her mother died was not the time to fight and that is correct. Like I said Sam is not Tory' punching bag. Clearly she was to emotional to be getting into a fight at the moment. No one other than Johnny thought this was a good idea. Not Danny, Amanda, Sam, hell her own boyfriend said it wasn't' a good time. And had she listened instead of getting super emotional (again understandable) she would have realized that what they were saying was right. At this moment what she needed was to take a beat, properly grieve, and then she can channel that anger and passion into a fight where both girls can give it their all.

@@DCLover19 Dainel lost a parent too. He lost his actual father and then his father figure. He understands the anger and sadness but knows that using it in this fight can lead to someone getting hurt.
I kinda sensed that something bad was gonna happen when the episode opened up with Tory being happy. That's how some shows do things depending on the stories they tell. It's sad. Hopefully, Tory does get a W because I really want her (and Miguel) to win. Even if it's with CK (she's really fighting for her mom anyway, from what I can tell).
I like Robby but I’ve always been a bigger Miguel fan kinda sucks that the kid we started with won’t be able to be the one who finishes it but is what it is Miguel still up in the war 😂
@@TajReacts I agree I just always felt like Miguel was the Daniel of the show but I can see how both of them are as long as Miguel dominates and doesn’t lose I won’t be mad but if he loses that’s bull
Don’t count him out yet my friend, the creators are the type to really surprise us, if anything, Robby winning the captain position further solidifies that somehow he will get injured or Miguel will be his substitute due to the whole Tory conflict. I want Robby to get a win as well, but it doesn’t feel right not having Miguel end this story, it started with him, it ends with him.
Tory was not in the right head space due to her mom’s death so Kreese was the only person she would trust hopefully she comes back to the right path soon

@@mikaelpersaud5094 Honestly, it doesn't matter if they are the first or the last five. Having Tory siding again with CK was simply a mistake. Actually, the whole part 1 was a mistake, and Tory was the cherry on top.
I was right with you about Devon brotha, after all the build up from season 4 only to ruin her character up to now is befuddling to me. Really disappointed with that decision to have Devon go to that length to get a spot, I would of had her trail Hawk and Demitri. Let those 2 duke it out and then have Devon try to fight Demitri for that last flag and take it from him so her and Kenny both can go no real harm no foul play on Devon smh.
