Brilliant video, really enjoyed it. 3 yrs ago I went on one from Cowes. There was no commentary and quite boring. This video is exceptionally good and very watchable. Thank you very much.
Thank you for letting me know how much you enjoyed it. That’s made it even more worth doing now. It was a last minute decision to do a live broadcast stream of the tour. I really appreciate your time. 😎
We were on Red Eagle for both Southampton to East Cowes and East Cowes to Southampton no preceding announcement, just the loud recorded safety and arrival announcements.
They used to have either the captain or on behalf of the captain welcome everyone, then have the safety announcement. Not noticed them do that in my recent travels now you mention it.
Her timbers look more like plastic to be honest. I just couldn't bear having such a glorious ship displayed in such manner... I would myself scuttle it.
I’m hoping to return soon and film what’s happening behind the covers and under the ship. Here’s a link with some information you might find interesting. www.nmrn.org.uk/visit-us/portsmouth-historic-dockyard/victory-live-big-repair Im hoping she’ll return to her former glory.
I’m obsessed with Disney Chris next year were maybe going on the Disney wish like I am so excited. I am watching this because I am gonna watch it all day because we’re going on a Disney cruise maybe next year and I am just too excited I have been watching horns.
One of the great things about being in Eastleigh or Southampton is if you don’t like a place, they’re in a great central location to visit other interesting places.
Very underrated indeed. There used to be a hovergraft that would go from England to France but was withdrawn years ago. One of them is now at a hovercraft museum in Lee on the solent. Check out this video I filmed on the Isle of Wight to see the power they have, it nearly knocked me off the wall I was sat on. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SFUoRjIR8RU.htmlsi=68gjRAhs-J0oeZ4H Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I’m glad you found the video you wanted to see/hear. I was lucky to catch the whistle and the fact they did it twice I’m told is unusual. Have a great day.
The Go ahead group which owns Bluestar and other bus companies have been sending the London buses out to help keep services going on some Southampton routes. They are also over on the Isle of Wight working under the Vectis buses name.
@@alicetafara9514 No, the only bus companies in Portsmouth are run by Stagecoach and First. National express and Megabus stop at the bus station at the harbour, but they’re not really a bus company in the same way the others are.
That’s interesting. So far this is the only Disney ship I’ve seen, but I’ll look out for the wish and what you mean. Thanks for taking the time the comment.
@@BusesJourneysMore on the front of the wish, there’s this Mickey Mouse shaped circle where he horns are and they are all air powered like the magic and wonder. The dream and fantasy use speakers that come out of the ships sides
It’s my favourite ship. I have memories of both going with my family and school to visit the ship. I’ll be returning in March to start filming a series for the channel which will include the Victory. Have a great day.
