Wonderful job. This when done in a church, is quite dramatic if the choir comes in at "fall on your knees" with 20 or so in 4 part. It always sent chills up my spine. Thank you for sharing this.
This may well be the most moving song that was ever written. And I will forever be grateful that someone pointed Richard Laviolette out to me - and forever sad about the fact that this happened because Richard Laviolette died last year. Thank you Richard, for leaving something we can keep. And another thank you to the kind person who uploaded this beautiful performance of the song. ❤
Thanks for the Note!!!! March 9th at the Royal City Mission in Guelph there is a memorial service for Richard. 11-2. Hope you can make it. Managed to get Richard in for a house concert and it was absolutely amazing. Had tried to do it again, but various reasons got in the way. Cheers!
@@TheTurnet I wish I could, but I'm in Germany. So kind of you to reply to my comment! I'll be listening to Richard's music on March 9th and be there in my heart. ❤
❣@@Sporkova74 hope you find some of the non recorded tracks here on youtube. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vj1mPWUBoyE.html&ab_channel=TheTurnet cheers
Jessy - remember that time you guys came to London, Richard's car broke, you guys all stayed over night and we went out for a greasy breakfast??? It was amazing and at my small house.
this... is... so great. there are no words. send the piano player to me so we can procreate this ideal across the deep south en masse and on three *BREAK*
introductions at indie bars in 2010 is super lame. the venue should have a site with all their acts posted ahead of time, along with a facebook page creating events for each show... with links on the event for the band so you can find out all the stuff the lame guy with the cheesy jokes was saying, plus much more. keep it cool and just put the band on stage. if people show up having no idea who they are, it's their fault. let the band introduce themselves and leave the MCing at comedy clubs
@theturnernator - Oh definitely! Last time at the hall supposedly they played into the morning after the show was finished, and of course I wasn't there.
@TPlow I didn't pick up on how good this was at the concert, but as always the lyrics are just stunning: Bev Munroe and his Pamina Valley Boys play at the party And I practice my English on nurses. ‘Oh that’s a nice mail’ And they may ask for mine, but the burns on my back from the X-rays Say I shouldn’t show anyone anything every again
@imthefly Wilco/Tweedy do NOT allow cameras at shows. Depending upon what kind of mood Jeff is in, the camera may get confiscated and you could be ejected. Film at your own risk.
