He is amazing!! Now 90 years old. All his music is different somehow, even today 60 years on ot is fresh. I never tire of listening to the Four Seasons and Frankie Valli. I am ten years younger than him!!
It’s only on the efforts of others that we grow and have the innovations of today! Acknowledgement of these times, the music and its exponents is gratitude for that contribution to our abundance now.
I LOVE that song. I met Norman's son on the Alaska Railroad from Denali to Anchorage in June of 2018. He was/is a train conductor. He had a contest while we were riding in his car to name the author of "Spirit in the Sky" and I got it. My "prize" was a rusty railroad spike! I still have it.
As a kid, I knew about The Cowsills. I lived "down the road" from them in Fall River, MA. I never knew the amazing repertoire of songs and talent they had and that they were the inspiration for "The Partridge Family." Yes, I've been living under a rock. Now in 2024, I'm finally listening. Thanks guys and bless you all.
Honestly thought Norman was dead this is so cool to see. I hear the haters here and yeah he doesn’t sound the best but you also gotta remember he is physically way past his prime so the fact he can even still perform at all is amazing! Keep spreading that spirit Norman!
Luck to have grown up with his music in Trinity county. Just like all the music you grow up loving it is a gateway to all the feelings and memories of that time. His solos that reach into the blues heavens where all life's pain and the elation of spiritual liberation are soaring in time. That is where it's AT!
